If I point at the death door and asked this question to the lieing one:
1) He would tell me that this door are Freedom door, if I asked him about it. But that's not his verbal answer, because that's not what I'm asking.
2) That means that my assumption is right. He would tell me that this door are Freedom door. No, your assumption is still wrong because you're assuming the door leads to freedom. This is all his though process. The guy knows if my assumption is right or wrong, because he knows which door are which and if he is lieing or not.
3) He will then proceed to say: "NO, your assumption is wrong." because he can't tell me that I'm right, he is a liar after all. So, he would say yes So he would say NO.

It does make sense but it's far more complicated than it needs to be.

So I got it right after all? No rules are broken?

You were just overthinking it that's all, here's the answer.

You ask one of the angels (It doesn't matter which one)
What door would the other angel say he's guarding?
And whatever he says the other angel will say that's the door he's guarding.

I can't because he didn't, His logical process was built on the premiss that you knew which one would lie and which one would tell the truth.
My statement to him above was poorly written,it was meant to convey that I wasn't questioning his use of logic just his premiss.

How would that let you know which door to go through.

My answer => just ask: "is this the door to hell?"

I thought the liar would say YES (this is the door to hell, he wants you to choose the bad door) and the truthguy also says yes, so then you would know the other door is the good door.

But the only issue here does the liar lie for making you choose the helldoor or does he always lie, like is this the hell door? "no".
