I am not a fan of popular culture but I like Star Wars. In the last picture above, Vader reading, I can hear his breathing. I am glad that the powers that be have tried to create a back story for Anakin during the Clone Wars before his fall, love Asoka Tano even Ventress. In the original 3, it is hard to accept that Anakin could be saved by Luke, there are actions which are unforgivable like slaughtering those Jedi children, Anakin had a lot of red in his ledger. Also in the original films some of those puppets looked ridiculous, the elephant musician, the odd looking Panther creature, and the arsehole in the desert that Fett fell into.Last edited by closed155; 01-01-2018, 11:37 PM.Comment

I know Disney is most definitely getting the $$$$ back when they bought the starwars franchise from Lucas & brought Marvel. I think it was combined at like 4 billion dollars. I still think Disney is making more money with Marvel than Star Wars. IDK , does anyone know the #'s on that.Comment

Here is Star Wars gross. Since it started with Ep. 7 it's easy to see how much Disney has made with just the movies.
Personally, I think Disney needs to take a small step back. Pumping out this many Star Wars movies like this actually hurts the franchise as soon we'll start seeing movies of things we don't care about, like Jarjar Binks or an even worse Star Wars Christmas Special. The real issue with Solo right now is that they put the movie up against Avengers and Deadpool 2 and should have put Solo out a week or two later. I haven't seen the movie myself, so I can't say if it's good or not, but the lower ticket sales are pretty much Disney picking the wrong release date.Last edited by Dontrike; 06-07-2018, 09:54 PM.Comment
