I'm totally behind calixto, I wish I had my foreskin. If a male decides to do that on his own, great, but it is nobody else's decision to make...period. Not socities, not religion's, not the doctor's, not your mother, not your father. And I am angry that that decision and a piece of my body were taken from me when I was a helpless baby...... You damn right it infuriates me, as it should others who are violated when they are at the most helpless in their lives.
Now for all you guys who get cut freely of your own sound mind, hey good luck...all the best to you.

Good thinking 007, I think JP misses the point, which is that we should have a choice. And actually, this "get over it" attitude is typical of people that deep down feel helpless and don't want to deal with the fact that they were robbed, not given the choice to whack it off, much less talk about it. Thats ok, I understand, keep your attitude, just let us talk about what we wish. Remember, I didn't start this thread.

So, if you want to cut yours off, THAT's GREAT, but my MAIN GOAL with talking about it here and commenting on this thread is not to get people interested in restoring, but to EDUCATE THEM SO THAT THEY WILL GIVE THEIR SONS A CHANCE THEY NEVER HAD, and tell more women about how its unnecessary to do something to their son that they would never understand, because they don't have a ding dong.

I am actually glad that i am circumcised and that it was done when i was an infant. I don't remeber having any pain and i never will. Also had i not been circumcized i would definatly have wanted to be. I dont think circumcision is really necessary but i am glad that it was done and i didnt have to remeber going through any pain. I dont have any deep down feelings that something was taken from me. I feel like i was given a blessing. Foreskin is something you are born with yes. Something that is necessary to remove absoulty not. But i feel like it is really not necessary or vital to sex and most women in the u.s. are in favor of circumsion and also i dont have to deal with near as much genital maintence in terms of cleaning as uncut guys do. Also p.e. is easier for uncut guys because jelqs dont pull up your skin and you dont have to pull the skin back for stretching or anything.

I'm totally with you there, JohnSmith011. While it is true that, as 007 said, it is not anybody's decision to make, not religion nor your parents nor society, you can't hide the fact that all these and probably more INFLUENCES your decision whether to have it done or not. Now, there's the difference.

Example would be 7"Steve's post. "What is wrong with being circumcised? Most girls think they look better." Those "most girls" didn't decide for him, it just probably influenced the decision of somebody to get circumcised.

We definitely have a choice. And despite understanding circumcision AFTER the operation was done, I am pretty much satisfied with what was done to me. Sure, I didn't decide for myself (I was only 10 years old, then), but the influence around me that boys (as in preteens) should be circumcised surely helped with my being happy with the circumcision.

Hope I didn't go out of line with this reply.

Yeah, it was actually kinda funny explaining to my ex what my peep would have looked like if it was not cut. I was like pulling the skin up over the head when I was kinda flaccid to show her. She said she was glad I was, because that would look weird. I told her it wouldn't quite look like that, but that was just an example. She was still glad I was cut. US thing I guess.

Yeah, I did start to get riled by the 'get over it comment' but mostly because people, especially males, simply dismiss the importance here. I can appreciate the "live with an attitude of gratitude" and I'm happy that everyone here is celibrating the positives of circumcision, that's great. But I am not happy that some ingnorant/arrogant person made this decision for me, I don't care how good it looks, or tastes, or smells, or makes the perfect omlet...we violate the rights of others when we circumcise, and belittling me as whiner does not change the fact that I feel this way.
When you take away the foreskin you reduce the sexual pleasure of that male, it's barbaric and come on...it's cleaner, it looks better.....should we start trimming up the vulvas or labias of little girls to make them look better, or to help them be cleaner after all when it comes to cleanliness they bleed, get infections etc... so should we start trimming up little girls' vaginas?
In fact some already do in many regions of africa it's called female circumcision, but it is denounced by most of the rest of the world as Female Genital Mutilation, to which I agree, it is barbaric even if it is accepted cultural norm. It is not right to usurp the decision of another and then take a piece of their anatomy, especially when they are helpless children.
Now I remember discussing this with my mother, she was very passionate in her opposition to female circumcision, or FGM as most everyone calls it, but when I likened it to male circumcision, suddenly it was no big deal and simply dismissed like I was simply being a crybaby. This torqued me, because this is the attitude I get from everyone, they roll their eyes and act like it's no big deal, shut up you cry baby.
Well it is a big deal, anytime we impose our will on some one else without their sober consent, we trespass against them and violate them, regardless of whether we take a piece of skin or their life. I am not consumed with this 24/7, I do appreciate what I have, but when I think about it, yes I do become angry.
I mean this is why we get so angry at other drivers, because they do something that reduces or eliminates our freedom of choice, like cutting us off or driving insanely slow. Their actions have confined us, and that loss of freedom chaps our hides. This is an example everyone can understand.
Cut, uncut, halfcut...whatever, if you make that decision on you own with a sober mind, great. My contension here is that it is nobody else's decision to make, especially when your in a helpless juvenile state. And hey, if this thread is about celebrating being cut and I hi-jacked it, I'm sorry I didn't mean to detract from the theme, you all are my bro's cut or uncut.

007 is sooooo more than right. This is the ONLY first world country that circumcises. JohnSmith011, you are very ignorant. If you have a foreskin, you can jelq MORE EASILY because you don't need lubricant, duh! Just like masturbating, no lubricant. Hmmm, and why are there all of these commercials selling lubricants now, you guessed it, circumcision. It really is no different than saying, "We should remove a baby's ears, since ears get waxy and dirty behind them, and you really don't need them to hear (which you don't). And they stick out and can look funny. Let's cut them off. Well, if MOST people had that operation at birth (now around 85-90% of males in this country are cut), it would seem NORMAL but that would never make it RIGHT. And THAT is what has been an exceptionally great thing about this site, is that most guys on here are/were willing to dare to believe that they could do something that a massive part of society says you cannot do; enlarge your dong. Yeah, just think about it. That's what happens. Shame on anyone who condones this. Shame on you!

Oh, and you think they just "throw it away"? No, there are now reports that the infants foreskins are being used by cosmetic companies as ingredients in creams and other WOMEN'S products, oh...the irony!!

That was a very inflammatory post calixto. I felt very disrespected because I am cut. I know you were talking in generalities, but did not like this. You make it sound like being circumcised is our fault.

For those of you who want a foreskin back... Don't know if this works, but i found it somewhere a long time ago and saved it on my computer. Never tried it, so, like I said, I have no idea if it works or not.
Foreskin Restoration Exercise
1. Massage to an erection... no lube needed
2. Kegel about 50 times to get as much blood in your unit as you can. You want an EQ of 9-10.
3. Grip the base and slide hand towards head, push skin as far towards glands as possible. When you feel the skin stretch really, really, really, really well hold it until you start to get soft.
4. Repeat it again... do the exercise for about 10 minutes a day.
Note: On last three stretches you want to do it as hard as possible without causing any pain.

Hope this helps anyone who wants that back.
