Girraffe, blue.

Today's quote refers to a man giving a woman an orgasm. I think you have said something, TPW, to the effect of men not giving women orgasms but coaxing them out. Yet you like this quote, and indeed most people do use language that implies one person gives another sexual pleasure.

It seems to me, the language used here, giving as opposed to assisting in, is inherently sexier than a more passive statement such as, "an orgasm helped along by a man". Based on this, I think, while it may be useful for men to not feel direct responsibility for a woman's orgasm, they damned sure better talk like they do.

Of course people give one another sexual pleasure and a woman's lover can certainly do a great deal to bring her to the promised land but it is she and she alone that must let go to enable the orgasm(s) to occur.

For me, the quote indicates the surprising manner in which she is aroused and brought to the brink by her lover through his/her sexual prowess...that is what is uncontrollable and thus exciting.

And even just for brevity sake...saying something like "I am going to make you come" or "Make me come" is much easier and far more erotic than saying something like "I am going to help you relax and feel good enough for you to let go and climax" or "Help me to relax, feel safe, feel connected enough to let go." Doesn't it?
