          • Fear of Loss/Misery

            522d2c1b-b5de-4706-8b87-334c06213b1e.jpg

            Your greatest internal struggle is between your passion for life and the fear of loss or misery!

            CHAKRA POINT: Root
            COLOR: Red
            FEARS: Losing something important;
            BAD HABITS: Hoarding tendencies;financial insecurity; indecisiveness; apathy
            MANTRA: "Letting go is not the end. It's the start of something new."

            With the fear of misery as your primary battle, you often struggle to cope with fears of losing belongings or not having enough, and the misery that would follow. Being robbed, going broke and having money issues, being homeless, losing your job, etc, are probably some of the most frightening things you can think of to happen to you. You'd likely do all you could to protect yourself from losing what you have. In fact, your drive to maintain possession of things might sometimes distract you from the loved ones you should be sharing in your success with.

            While this fear is practical, it can be debilitating if you force yourself to take on more stress than you can handle, in an effort to feel in control. However, the reality is that taking on too much by yourself can make you lose control faster! Don't be afraid to ask for help or for patience from others when you need it and remember to take a break from building your life to just enjoy it having! Lessen your burden by letting go of things your don't need in your life. Should you find yourself in a miserable situation, always remember to keep track of the things you still have to be happy about!

            Fear of misery is a failure of perspective and simply remembering that you don't have to hold on so tightly to everything can help keep that perspective in mind.

                      A real man never hurts a woman. The woman came out of a man’s rib, not from his feet to be walked on, and not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved. - Mrs. workin_4_it

                            The fragrance of your life is the smell of grilled meat!
                            Just like any other BBQ lover, you are very friendly, charming and warm! You love spending time with your friends and family, laughing, and drinking some beer at the long table of the local BBQ pit. Your attitude in life is as a simple as, "sprinkle a few spices on it and throw it on the grill." Get the charcoal ready! We're getting hungry!
