Did any of your kids keep you up late on Christmas Eve or Easter Eve?
But even though you were sleepy, you had to get up very early to set out the presents, or go outside in the morning chill to hide eggs?
Because you knew that as soon as they hit the floor, the excitement would begin.

I kind of spent the morning thinking about those memories.
Must have been all the talk about Easter Eggs.
I remembered their cries of joy when they would come down the hall and how their Mom would try to hold them up so I could take pictures. How good, little kids smell. The tearing into the presents or running outside still in their jammies to find the eggs.
How I cherish those memories. Without a question.
