Well we all know my thoughts are a bit out there. I really wish I knew where out there was because then I could go find them and maybe change a couple of them.

Some of you guys have complained about the Bathmate ad. Hey why do we have to see that or why do we want to see a guy with that thing on his junk or if you like the ad you must be gay, which of course I really hate that reference.

Now I don't look at it like that so maybe you guys can tell me where I messed up. When I see that ad I see a guy doing the same thing we all came here for. He's trying to improve himself. I mean what's so bad? I kind of look at it as almost an inspiration kind of thing. He's working to improve himself so why not me?

Now the gym that I go to, and maybe I shouldn't go because I don't know who owns it but they have really good stuff there, always shows pictures of folks in skimpy attire that are in great shape? Is looking at a guy with a 6 pack and wanting to have one, well it's that weird? I don't think so.

So maybe we look at that ad some of you hate and maybe your perception is off or maybe mine is. Which do you think it is?

I think members who object to the Bathmate ad are, for the most part, concerned about others seeing it pop up on their screen, first thing, when they log in to PEGYM. If you have kids. especially daughters, I can understand how that could be a bit uncomfortable for Daddy to explain! (LOL)! Aside from that, the ad does exactly what it's supposed tp do-get your attention & quickly communicate the purpose of the product. I do think relocating the ad to the bottom of the forums page might alleviate some members angst over it popping up when logging in...just a suggestion....

For me there is no problem with it since I use adblock but not everyone uses it.

Like mentioned before if you have kids or for example you live with roommate that would be a bit weird if someone sees the ad.

I think the website would look more professional if there would be just the Bathmate pumps instead of actual demonstration of usage.

Let's say some hanger company would be a sponsor I would find it a bit weird as an add to have a guy even if he has abs demonstrating the usage of the device as an ad.

The ad doesn't bother me personally as I live alone and I just ignore it...it would bother me if I didn't live alone as I enjoy coming to the site to just read sometimes about members life issues that do not necessarily have anything to do with their todgers.

The advert itself looks tired and dated and lacks imagination...the guy looks like someone had just slapped him around the kisser with a wet kipper! He looks like he's in pain and isn't enjoying the experience at all!

I think LLN's version of me with the Bathmate is a winner!

I'm with jock, I like the idea of replacing the ad to the bottom of the page or some place that can hide the ad when you logging in. I find it so awkward sometimes if I'm with my friends.

Wouldn't putting the ad at the footer of the page rather than the header generate less income for the site? I would have thought more prominent position equals more revenue.

Embarrassed yes and like others said it would be inappropriate if you had a young daughter or son that would happen to see the add.

If friends would be around they would think that your weird , most likely think your visit some gay website.

You would say probably for them to mind their own business or tell that it is male enhancement forum something like that.

The thing that the advertiser needs to consider is that many people are using ad block to get rid of it. Now they are loosing their advertising to all these guys.
