So what are reasonings for someone to join porn industry will it be female or a man?

Having sex on camera is not very smart in my opinnion since that material is forever there for everyone to view. Basicly all kids will know and makes finding a partner quite difficult in long term.

I have heard many girls are from troubled families.

What is the difference between porn and prostitution? There is no pimp and sessions are filmed is that it basicly camera is involved?

Also what seems is that male pornstars are respected atleast in eyes of other men as these weird heroes but female pornstars are looked at as these ultra ''cumbuckets''.

Still ''performers'' are getting money from their scenes, while most join willingly to porn industry I guess some are forced into it. I guess same goes with prostitution... maybe there is higher % of those who are forced into it but many go because it get's them fast money.

To be honest, if it wasn't for the stigma and the fact I don't care for my looks, I'd do it if the offer came up. I mean, if all the girls are tested, attractive, and you got paid for having sex, then why not. Granted that is not the case in the real world we all live in.

Maybe what I saw/read in the past is dated, but it seemed like everyone had to undergo constant testing, meaning the chances of a STD would be a lot lower in porn than it would be taking home a random girl from a club (that has probably been with 10-100 other guys, maybe without any protection, before going home with you).

Poverty, drug habit, children, or college.... Take your pick.

A majority do it for the easy money, because they either can't get a higher paying or don't want to work, but there are some who do it to pay for a college education or to provide for their families. Believe it or not, a majority of porn stars are married and lead pretty boring lives outside of the industry, that is when they are not promoting themselves.

There's a great documentary called "Life After Porn" and some MTV's "True Life" episodes, even a "One Bad Mistake", that cover people's decision to become porn stars and their lives during and after quitting.
