I also read your previous post in this thread and although I share some characteristics of performance anxiety I do not think this is the main reason. I can surpass these problems by taking a vasodilator pill such as Vardenafil.

I will be patient and wait for some months to recover. However, I have a prospective girlfriend and I am afraid that things might turn sour if the relationship progresses fast. Apart from that most urologists do not believe in PIED and they suggest injecting the penis with some chemical and observing its response. What do you think of this?
You make a valid point in how some concentrate on the catalyst instead of the effects. That being the case, you'll likely not find a qualified uro who doesn't acknowledge the emotional mechanisms behind performance anxiety.

Conditioning- whether through repeated negative sexual or self-induced experiences (like porn) combined with an increased sense of fear instead of anticipation at the prospect of a sexual encounter indicates some psychological component.

As far as your relationship take the time to ease into sexual activity. There's no need to force yourself to perform when you're not comfortable with a certain level of intimacy. A caring partner can be the best way to speed up recovery from these types of issues, and if your penis is physically sound it could negate the need for any pills or (worse) injectables.

NOT EVERYTHING IS PORN RELATED ED!

He clearly states that his problems began when he started taking drugs that have known sexual side effects. That is the huge waving red flag, it is the wacky waving arm inflatable tube man of red flags.

Getting off those meds is a must, to restore any type of sexual function.
Exercise is also a great idea. Be careful about all those supplements.
Most are a wast of money, but the bigger risk is liver toxicity from too many supplements.
Citrulline is a good one. I'd stay away from creatine though. Only helpfull if you're doing an extreme work out or on roids, and will cause some water weight gain and some fat gain with any muscle gains (unless you're roided out).
      How did I get here?

Well I was looking for Pygmy.com (I gotta thing for small people, so what), and ended up here.
And I've been here ever since.

I am very prudent of liver toxicity as I might have already damaged it to some extend. I am off every kind of medicine and supplement right now, the last time I took those SSRI pills were 10 months ago. I think the effects should have worn out by now.

Everyone is focused on porn nowadays, please read this and maybe you'll also read the links in my first post:

Persistent sexual dysfunction after discontinuation of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. - PubMed - NCBI

          https://www.quora.com/Can-SSRIs-have...t-on-sex-drive

SSRI long term damage/risk thread - Brain Health - LONGECITY

          http://www.depressionforums.org/foru...ack-on-prozac/
          SSRIs and libido...there is hope!

So my non medical advice would be , ditch the porn because it's a loss of time and can be harmful in itself, but research to the best of your abilities what could help you overcome post ssri loss of libido, and what you can do to improve your quality of life.

Regarding supplements, one could argue that ingesting food, alcohol, sodas, meds can be bad, that feeling shit for years can be bad, that drinking too much water at once can be deadly, that too much of anything should be avoided etc.. I understand the fact you want to stay safe and it's a good thing.

In any case you can definitely try the non-supplements route and see how you feel in the next few months, I don't even know if any supplement could help, I did not check.

Good luck and keep us updated (whether you find good info or make progress)!

Porn is a variable. To some men it affects them little; for others, a lot. He stated he masturbated 2-3 times a day to porn. Even in someone with a very high libido this can't have any long term positive or even neutral result.
I agree if one does this for years it can't be positive, however I don't necessarily agree with the reboot idea of not fapping, not fantasizing for months even if libido is a flatline, I've seen guys be this way for a year and more. At some point "it's use it or lose it" imo.

I agree with popol. SSRI inhibitors are serious business.

I stumbled on this while I was looking for researching herbs:
Ginkgo biloba for antidepressant-induced sexual dysfunction.

Popol thanks for your advice on my predicament. I will definitely read the links in your other posts too and I am also aware that I/we focus on PIED too much sometimes.

EDIT: I read some of the posts you mentioned and there is great amount of information in them and a few methods to remedy the sexual dysfunctions induces by prolonged SSRI usage. I think I can benefit from them, but one should be prudent as taking too many chemical may damage ones liver. Most doctors in my country do not seem to know this much detail as far as I saw and they usually prescribe mainstream drugs and be done with you. However, I am still thinking of showing these links and mentioning these research to the urologist, psychiatrist I was seeing and see if they will cooperate.

I know Gingko has been used for a long time. Definitely try to gather info on the supplements and ideas that could help and see how safe they are (which doesn't mean you're going to supplement with any of them), then discuss what you found with docs . Area1255 has an article on post ssri sexual dysfunction and what he thinks can help treat it (he has a tendency to promote a few brands and products so keep the pinch of salt within arms reach).

Try to find docs who are open to talk and teach, as Cusp82 says, "doctor" means "teacher".

You'll have waves where your libido seems like it has returned, just to wake up the next day with zero, this takes months to overcome but gets better.

Here are a couple of things to do in addition to abstaining from porn, likely forever in your case, that will also help the situation.

                    Start a light Jelqing routine.
Masturbate to only physical stimulation. If you cannot achieve a hard erection, stop.
Never ejaculate without a full hard erection. Do not masturbate to Orgasm with a semi, this is disasterous.
Do not watch porn. Do not relapse.
Time. This process takes lots of time, I've been through it more than once... as porn is an addiction it can be tough to get rid of fully.

If you need a pep talk, shoot me a PM, I'd be happy to share more about my experiences.
very good details, didn´t know masturbate to orgasm without a full erection was so bad , is nice to quote it so many guys can see it.
                    "Girth over length :D "

Thanks for the info popol, I didn't know those drugs could be so bad for sex life.

As for PIED, I believe you can go on a "reboot", whitout being extreme (no fap, no fantaisies), that is stop the porn and reduce masturbation to a healthy level.

You are wrong about creatine. Some people experience bloating, but it's far from the standard. It is also the most researched supplement that exists and can boost explosive performance up to 25%. Most people who experience bloating, do a loading phase of 20grams per day which is entirely unnecessary and is a myth made up by supplement companies to sell more of it. It will absolutely not cause fat gains. If you lift more and induce more hypertrophy, your muscles grow more and as a result they will help you burn more calories.

Perhaps try Niacin (the flush type) 300-500mg daily, could tackle the depression fully and also increase libido through sex hormones production Niacin supports.

Else Sam-E could also work to alleviate depression, and perhaps help getting aroused faster.

(both of these are scientifically proven to do what I just described them to do, and both are natural compounds, and Niacin is found naturally in the body)

The ginkgo did not change anything much after a month, I think stress might be a bigger factor here than porn. As I do not masturbate to porn anymore, decrease my masturbation frequency and I scarcely watch porn.
