    Hello all,

    I've been on-and-off lurking around the boards now for a few years so I figured it was high time to make myself known.

    So, as I've said, I've been lurking on the boards for a while, and read a good few of the posts from you guys such as Big Al, JonPop, Kingpole, Pegasus, and dmizzle, rbi99 and many others (I wouldn't get this done if I named everyone) along with most if not all of the posts in the "Start Here" thread .

    I've been doing PE on and off for several years along with reading these posts, but back then, usually life or my mental state made my breaks way longer than I'd like (kinda hard to find time when you're in a barracks or deployed). Now that that's not an issue, I'm going to work on my goal of being on the higher end of "average" (I'm 5'3 and everything's proportional). I figure starting by making myself known would help in me holding myself accountable.

            Start a journal in the progress forum to record your daily PE activity. It will help keep you motivated, accountable, and you'll have a nice history of your exercises and what worked (or didn't) going forward. You'll also get feedback from other members to help you along the way. Welcome!

                Thank you all,

                The log is probably going to be the hardest part for me. I've never been good at taking notes. Before I head to work tonight, I intend on working on my log, no pun intended.

                  The easiest way to go about it is to write out the preliminary details beforehand. As you complete each exercise you can log the rep/times into your journal.

                    That's probably best. I was trying to figure out if I'd fill it out before work, or just do the whole thing when I get off.

                      Writing it up well before your workout might give you more of a sense of commitment towards your training. There's something about having your work in writing which does that
