  • Hello From Canada

    Hey guys.
Been lurking for a while, figured I'd make it official and sign up.

Been interested for a while in PE. I'm a a wee bit above average depending on what chart you read, and kindof waffle between being confident and wanting to learn/grow.

My problem is that I'm a diagnosed obsessive compulsive with dysmorphia tendencies so I need to be cautious as to how I approach this in order to be healthy with it.. need to make sure my motivations are proactive/empowered and not becoming maladaptive..

My Ocd also makes me really terrified of injuries.. a few seconds in the injury forum makes me want to never touch my penis again...

That said, I'm Just gonna take it slow and see how things go.. PE should be fun right :-p

    Anyway, thanks

    Hey Zippo!

    Welcome to the Gym. Eh

It would be a good idea to click on the Start Here button at the top left of the page. Lots of good information on what the Gym is all about, including best practices and safety tips.

It is always recommended to start with a beginners routine and continue with it for 90 days or until you stop gaining. Start slowly and build up to the full routine over a few weeks.

Jelq with an erection level between 40 and 70%. Do not grip too tight, just enough to feel blood moving up the shaft. When stretching, grab your shaft about one inch below the glans and do not pull too hard, just enough to to feel a slight stretch. Let your PIs be your guide as to how hard to pursue your routine.

Dont forget to take good starting measurements and photos so you have a solid base to compare your gains to.

PE safely and good luck with your endeavers.

Hello my fellow Canuck!! U definitely landed in the right place to start down the path to PE success.. Diddo on what was said above.. This could be a tricky road for u with those conditions, PE is addictive so the best way would be to step back and look at the situation logically, like u are another person looking in on what u are doing.. Take it day by day.. Simplicity in training is the key to success.. Leave the more advanced training till a bit down the road and u should be fine..

Most that get injured are ether pushing too hard or had some underlying issues they didn't know about to begin with.. PE is perfectly safe if done reasonably..

        Welcome to the gym!!

If you're dysmorphic/borderline dysmorphic, then chances are you really won't see any gains as you get them. Trust in the numbers/ruler more than your eyes...I know that was the case for me.

Also glad to see another canuck here, although technically that might also mean you're competition. lol

Hey another Hoser?! Great to see some (more) representation from the Great White North. Also didn't know Pheonix and Master-Gauge were 'Nucks too.

Start a training log, and as already mentioned above, trust in the numbers not visuals. Record your baseline numbers for a record of where you started, and then record on a biweekly or monthly interval.

I've attached a spreadsheet that I use to document my progress. It may be helpful to you.

Be consistent, be patient, and above all - be safe. Follow those principles and you'll see progress.

                Welcome to the forum!

                From: OCD coupled with PE

The best gainers I've known have claimed they were diagnosed as OCD at some point in their lives. The difference between them and those who struggle with it is they were able to move past the "disorder" portion of their issue. They developed a level of emotional mastery sufficient enough so they were able to use the positive traits of what's typically attributed to OCD to their benefit- intense focus, hyperawareness, and persistence- now tempered with the discipline of a controlled mind.

When you can get to the point to where you can train objectively you may be able to make it work for you as well. That will require your getting some level of mastery over your anxieties.

This may come off a dumb but..
You guys promise this stuff actually works? I had to take a couple weeks after just starting cause I strained myself at the actual gym (was causing PC muscle spasms so I thought I'd cool it.)

I'm a dedicated person.. recently lost 140lbs WHILE quitting smoking.. but this stuff seems sketchy because there's no like... Proper studies? I don't know.. I'm not calling anyone a liar but I'm feeling really insecure about my size.. and the idea that I can work on it is inspiring..

Just wanting some reassurance I guess. I know I'll never be "huge". I don't think I'd want to be honestly.. but I'd like to know with confidence that I am good enough..

                  Anyways. Great community so far.

                  Thanks guys

Here is a proper study done by the BJUI that proves extenders work. If an extender works then so will manual exercises.

A pilot phase-II prospective study to test the ‘efficacy ..-

From Wikipedia's entry on the kegel exercise- which is usually considered to be more of a stamina movement:

"Exercises are usually done to reduce urinary stress incontinence (especially after childbirth) and reduce premature ejaculatory occurrences in men, as well as to increase the size and intensity of erections."

                        Bolded emphasis mine

Yes. This does work. YMMV based on your individual physical makeup, but if you arm yourself with knowledge, remain consistent and train smart - you'll see results.

My progress at present have been modest, but encouraging. Even if a person doesn't grow, the improvement in EQ is a beneficial result in of itself.

And for confidence - well, I've been average size at best all my life - and now even though I'm not walking around with a third leg, I walk with confidence that I've never had before.

I'd like to otherwise think that I'm a deeper individual than what I'm about to say but PE is life changing. Truly is.

Yeah it works bro. I honestly still don't believe my gains but rulers don't lie... last time I measured in june I thought to myself "Maybe I measured wrong the first time " But who measures almost 1.125in wrong? lol so keep a log you'll see for yourself, and listen to your SO all of a sudden she'll be saying things she's never said before
