I'm only a newbie at this myself, but that sounds like a sensible start. I started like that but ramped up the reps too quickly. If I were to start again (which I am doing ) I'd be following a similar routine to that for at least a couple of weeks with maybe a little light, manual stretching as well. From my limited experience, it's definitely very easy to overtrain in the early days.
