  • Basic bloodflow question with possible theoretical implications for PE

Everyone who's had a long flight for example (8+ hours) knows how your feet start to swell because all your blood flows down because it's not really needed elsewhere.

I started wondering. Why doesn't the blood flow into your penis then as well? I mean that thing hangs down all day long, you must wonder why it's not filled with much more blood then?

Does the human body have some kind of "mechanism" that prevents too much blood flowing into your penis? (unless you have an errection, of course). Could the difference between a grower and a shower have something to do with this "mechanism" that some people might have, and some don't? When I do reverse kegels, my penis kinda blows up and gets filled with blood, would that be a way to "open" up the bloodflow?

Blood flow into the penis is controlled by the inner structure of the penis called the corpora cavernosa know also as the smooth muscle. This muscle is not like any other muscle in the body and works opposite of what you may think. It's normally in and expanded state that minimizes the blood flow into the inner penis. When you become aroused the purpose of this muscle is to relax and allow blood to flow into the penis which in turn creates an erection. It doesn't matter what position you are in or for how long, if this muscle is in it's normal expanded state there will be no additional blood flow into the inner penis.

To totally satisfy a woman sexually is not about having a large penis, it's about being a good lover.

Basic physiology & genetics account for the primary differences between "gowers" & "showers". Natural-born showers (like me) have more inner penis exposed outside the body. My penis & balls have always been larger flaccid than my teammates in the locker room & showers. It's purely physiological/genetics, I believe. Studies reveal that less than 20% of males are "showers" & more than 80% are "growers", making shower guys somewhat "unique" among males.

As a male having grown up with a larger flaccid, I personally believe it's over-rated, and a "bigger deal" to other guys than females. I grow when I become erect of course, but I don't grow exponentially like many grower guys do. I gain about 1.5" in length and .75" in girth from completely flaccid to fully erect. Many grower guys will double in size or more, by comparison. Growers just have more inner penis that becomes evident when they're erect than me, while mine's exposed naturally, outside my body. I also think that extreme growers probably have better EQ than us shower guys, too. The reason I say this is my erection angle isn't generally as high as a grower guys typically is, I suspect. This might be from the effects of gravity pulling down on the more exposed flaccid on showers coupled with weaker suspensory ligaments. Both those factors contribute, further enhancing a shower guy's flaccid hang, IMO.
