Wow.. I think this thread needs to be dug out and reevaluated. I'm still to this day thinking this is the way.

Wouldn't be mine since I fell out of PE since this thread began. I'm only trying to stimulate conversation with like-minded people. People who are interested in understanding how PE works and perfecting the methods involved. The above is not meant to be argumentative, abrasive or confrontational. I like the concept and I apply it to the way I workout with weightlifting. But I seem to see more often than not with PE is that growth occurs with consistence and some incremental increases in duration and intensity. Your theory may likely be a great way to bust through plateaus with a "shock" tactic but as far as this being the most effective way to gain overall I am not sure.

I don't know. Everything I look at speaks of cyclic stretching > 3x/min as the way to get cell proliferation for collagen cells. I've also found 104F as being the point where it is most pliable and cooling while in the extended state as a way to create deformation. I've also ran across literature stating vibrations between certain frequencies causing cell hyperplasia. The above is not meant to be argumentative, abrasive or confrontational. What I find disheartening is the complete lack of interest you guys seem to have with respect of finding explanations to common PE issues. Why can't we have an intellectual discussion on this topic?

Studies on the cyclic loading of tissues suggest that most deformation occurs in the first stretch, and after four stretches there is little change in ultimate length. Therefore there is no extra benefit from stretching 10 times in one session.
It takes 12-18 seconds to reach stress relaxation, so there is no need to hold a stretch for longer than 20 seconds
Greater peak tensions and more energy are absorbed the faster the rate of stretch. This means that a tissue will generate greater tension if the rate of stretch is faster and therefore not achieve the same length as a tissue undergoing a slow stretch. That is, do passive stretches SLOWLY.
Once elongated, length changes are not rapidly reversible due to the viscous nature of the tissue. However, deformations are not permanent because the elastic properties will eventually bring the tissue back to its original length. Lasting changes come from adaptive remodelling of the connective tissues, not mechanical deformation. One study in South Africa showed that stretching every four hours was the most effective way to achieve elongation in a muscle. This may suggest that the temporary change in length following a stretch may start to regress after four hours (Grace Hughes, unpublished study).Last edited by Cya at 8; 10-10-2012, 11:06 AM.The above is not meant to be argumentative, abrasive or confrontational. A number of physical properties of viscoelastic tissues help describe how these tissues elongate with stretching. These properties are creep, load relaxation and hysteresis: Creep describes the ability of a tissue to elongate over time when a constant load is applied to it. For example, if we applied 10 kg of force to our leg in order to stretch our hamstring, we might initially get our leg to 90 degrees before our tissues prevented further movement. If we sustained that load, we would find that our leg would gradually 'creep' a few degrees over a period of time.
Load relaxation describes how less force is required to maintain a tissue at a set length over time. Using the above example again, if we applied 10 kg of force to get our leg to 90 degrees, we would find that less force would be needed (9,8,7 kg etc..) to keep it at 90 degrees.
Hysteresis describes the amount of lengthening a tissue will maintain after a cycle of stretching (deformation) and then relaxation. Again, let's assume that if we gained an extra 10 degrees of range in hamstrings after the stretches described above, we would maintain that range for some time after the load was removed. The above is not meant to be argumentative, abrasive or confrontational. The thing I want people to understand is cross linking of tissues under too great of a load. What you want to do with PE is SLOWLY increase size and not overload or go with too high of weight too early.
As BigO's signature suggests "Over training stops the Gaining." and he is 100% correct. If you are gaining, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING! Cross linkage will really make it hard to gain.
3. Excessive training causes more crosslinking to occur between collagen fibres and therefore increases stiffness.Last edited by Cya at 8; 10-10-2012, 01:02 PM.The above is not meant to be argumentative, abrasive or confrontational. Take this and everything you read with a grain of salt.

I agree that people here seem to increase the length of the workout too quickly. As I read in the "Exercising The Penis" book, they seem to suggest that beginners increase their jelqing from 10 to 20 min after just 5 weeks. And from 5 to 10 minutes of stretching in the same period. Also for some alternative workouts, increase is 1 min per week.
My entire routine is ~16-17 minutes long, including warm-up and cool-down. How much jelqing do I do? 3-4 minutes.
This is the 6th month I've been using it and it continues to do the work just fine.
I think this is the reason people hit plateaus. They increase the length of the exercises for no reason, and then after a while they increase it so much that no further increasement bares any change. I saw some blogs and I noticed that average workout length is around 1-1.5 hours. Was that really necessary?

Agreed. There is never a reason to change if you are gaining. There is much more risk of cross linking than opportunity of gaining at a quicker rate.
The problem is what about those who are already finding gains very difficult? Are they stuck with high intensity workouts?
People wont listen to you unless you claim to have gained 2" in 4 months. Yet they will listen to guys who make that claim without one shred of evidence. Sad.
Be skeptical guys.. And that includes with Bib or anyone else who is coaching you on how to change the size of your reproduction organ.Last edited by Cya at 8; 10-11-2012, 10:17 AM.The above is not meant to be argumentative, abrasive or confrontational. I kind of joined this site so I can help in this regard. If I exclude first month where I did it wrong and a small loss in the 2 year pause, I got 1.8" in 4 month and 10 days so far (kind of gave away my progress for October).
I guess I'll have to start taking some pictures and "work on my rep" in order to convince people my gains are legit (or that I'm trustworthy and knowledgeable), first. But at the end of the day, if they want to follow the herd then I don't really care.
I'd like to discuss this.
I'm wondering if PE have even more in common with gym workouts, then muscle confusion:
1) Should we watch out how much protein and calories we take? This one, I feel, is very important. All these gains that I got so far, were during my bulking phase. When I ate at least 150 grams of protein a day and 3.000+ calories. I mean think about it. Do most of us even pay attention to this? Can we grow anything with lack of protein and calories? I got a feeling that growing a dick isn't actually body's priority.
2) Should we exercise our penises every 3 days like we do for our biceps, chest...? Maybe we're overdoing it by exercising 5 days a week, hence hindering out growth. What if we can accomplish the same thing (or more) with doing 15 min workouts every 3 days, instead of 1 hour workouts 5 days a week?
3) ??
I mean, I'd like to try some changes after I stop growing, but it might take a while.Last edited by Nachos87; 10-11-2012, 03:51 PM.Into 19th Month
