1. Exercise (not too much though, overtraining will decrease testosterone).
2. Get enough sleep (Why do you think you are at your horniest in the morning)
3. Competition (Even a simple game of chess will increase your testosterone)
4. Positive attitude (Nothing kills your testosterone like feeling down)
5. Sex (Sex with a real woman(not too sure about masturbation) will will boost your test levels)

Beer contains hops, an estrogenic plant. This is on my mind quite a bit recently, im trying to stick to a testosterone lifestyle, but cutting out beer is hard, what are my alternatives? Cider, its packed full of sugar. Drinking bottles of beer might be a good option. If i was a beer company, like fosters, id make a hops free beer, promoting it as a proper manly beer. Million dollar idea, dont steal it.
Tim Feriss the author of the book didn't mention that he was doing any PE routine so he would have never considered it. Personally i wouldn't think it would have a negative effect on gains if you are doing a proper warm down but then again i am not that experienced.
There are proven ways to maintain healthy levels of testosterone production. However, it WILL NOT have any significant impact in terms of muscle development or over average libido. It will just make a healthier human. The problem is that today the vast majority of humans are so UNhealthy, that these changes give the perception that a huge improvement can be made naturally on testosterone levels by natural ways. But that improvement is false. It is just that you are going from a sick unhealthy person, to a normal healthy one. Like we are supposed to be. Also, hormone levels have been damaged for generations. In order to produce a better specimen you need to maintain this lifestyle, procreate, raise your offspring under the same habits, and then the third generation will be greatly improved.
this thread is great... very fascinating. Can anyone answer my question about cold water showers and PE and Test?
From memory the cold shower thing was about fatloss, thermogenics, didnt have much to do with the test increase but i could be wrong.
There is a ton of BS in the 4 hour body as well as a ton of good nuggets of info. Its all unintentionally entertaining as Tim Ferris loves himself so much.
There are some great tips here but Gymboi's was great, strength training will increase your test and HGH.

Interesting post but natually increasing ones test DOES have and effect on muscular development and libido, I see it every day.

Yes that is the perception that you get, but you are only bringing your body to normal human levels. Not super human steroid-like effects. In fact, it is scientifically proven by historical data that the average total testosterone production in a healthy adult male 50 years ago was around 700 ng/dl. Today, a healthy adult male produce on average around 400. Almost half. So with all these changes, you are only bringing your carbon unit closer to what was normal before, and not even completely to what was before. In humans, there is no natural selection anymore. Therefore, all the mediocrity and degeneration in the genetic code is being passed to the next generation degrading the species day by day.
I think it is a very valid distinction that Jackxxx makes & true.
But I for one want to do as much as possible just to shut down all the outside factors from processed foods, cosmetic products, plastics, stress etc - and bring my testosterone back to as high as it should be without introducing exogenous testosterone.

Are you trying to say that natural, fluctuating hormone levels "might" influence PE gains with this thread? I highly doubt it. There's very little if any skeletal muscle in the penis. We're mainly stretching tissue. The hormone "cocktail" that influences penis size during puberty is unknown as far as I know and cannot be replicated through ingestion of supplements, or other artificial means. Of course, if I'm wrong so be it.
Honestly, the best approach (IMHO) for the man who's actually serious about knowing what his resting hormone levels are for whatever the reason, is to get a referral to an endocrinologist and have some blood work done. THEN, you can see where you are either in excess, or deficient and use the experts' opinion on where to go from there. You may get recommendations on what changes in lifestyle to make whether they be dietary or otherwise. You might also qualify for hormone replacement therapy.
Healthy hormone levels are good for general health and lifestyle.
There is a suggestion that healthy levels are pe positive without an attempt to replicate puberty.
The blood test thing is a good idea. In my experience though docs are not good at lifestyle stuff.
