Since you are just starting out it is a little normal for your glans to turn a deep red / purple or bluish color as you are forcing a LOT of blood into the head of your penis which you are not used to doing. Going for 5 minutes and then pulling out for a massage then going back in for 5 minutes is a good way to start, also make sure that you take a rest day or two in between sessions. It is very important to listen to your body, as you do if you lift weights.
