How have you found the x40 ? Was this your first pump? Are the gains coming ?

In my experience the vast majority of air leaks occur at the base, with the pump shifting and not maintaining a tight seal. In other cases though there can be a valve issue - if the air is coming from the valve, it may need a replacement. If you find that's the case, and you purchased your bathmate from bathpump.com, we'll go ahead and send you a replacement valve for no charge.

      Hope that helps!

Harrison, Thank you for responding! I've double checked many times around the base to make sure the seal is tight, no water leakage, I pump and pump, and bubbles still seem to float down from the top. Sometimes in rapid paces, sometimes in a slow pace, but they never stop. How do I go about getting a replacement valve? I did purchase it from bathpump.com

      • Hey there, Im trying to figure out how to gain length with the x30. I know the girth goes up but I never have gotten bigger then my regular erection size. I'm wondering if I'm pumping wrong but I feel the suction for sure. Another question I have is when you line the cushion up with the bellows should the measurement label be in line with the the the cushion/bellows line? Thanks

        • Sorry for the double post. But I asked my question wrong. I know the tube rotates so you don't have to see the sticker. But my question is; The line where the cushion and bellows line up, is that supposed to be up or down when your using it?

          • Question about X30 Extreme:

Can you pump with just the hand ball pump and avoid pumping by pushing into your pelvic area like the ones without hand ball pump?

Does the hand ball pump have to be submerged in water as well? I take shower so would be nice to use it without it being submerged... just don't know.

            Thanks!

              Hey aj1101,

Cool - sorry to hear you're still seeing the air bubble issue. We'll get it fixed up for you. Private message me your order information and we'll send out a replacement valve to you.

              Cheers,
              Harrison

Hiya iceage. Yep it is my first pump. It's absolutely fine when used in the bath where the seal between the body and the pump is submerged. I'm up to about my 25th session and yep the gains seem to be coming in both length and girth (I have some pics loaded and will update again at the end of the month). I usually pump in the morning (currently @ 4 sets of 5 minutes) and do a JP90 based routine in the evening.

The only problem that I have encountered is when I have used the pump standing. I get some minor air leakage between the body and the pump but I think that you can get around this by using some vaseline or maybe filling the pump before fitting the comfort pad.

So yep at the moment I'm very happy

Hi drink. I think that it is a matter of preference and/or fit. Personally I have rotated the bellows of my X40 180 degrees and have that notch, and therefore the pre-compressed part of the bellows, above my penis. This way kinda feels more natural for me. So in a nutshell I use it upside down to the way in which it was shipped.

This is how it was explained to me when I called the Service Rep that I bought my 40x pump from:

When sitting in the tub the beveled edge is pointed down. The measurements label is facing the user. When standing in the shower, the beveled edge is pointed up. Leaving the measurements label pointing down. You must rotate the cylinder so that the measurements label is facing the user.

So it really depends on whether you are taking a shower or a bath. If you are taking a bath it's pointed down. If you are showering it's pointed up.

                    • That's weird it would change from laying and standing. Cause I put it on me while standing and then lay down in the tub and it works just fine. I just don't get why my length won't get bigger then my normal erection length while using it. I thought that was part of what pumping does. Even if it is temporary. I pump to max. Anyone else dealing with the same issue?
Thanks for the reply also : )

                      • Also I would like to know where most people feel the pressure. Most of what I feel is underneath by the big vein. Is that normal? I don't really feel to much on top. Also this is my 2nd week of doing 3 reps of 5 mins every day besides 1 day a week. And in between the sets I do around 10 basic stretches and 10 rotation stretches. Counting each hand as 1. I would also like to know the 3 main length stretches that will show the most gains. And my EQ is awesome still. So I don't think I'm harming my little guy at all. Hopefully not : )

                        Thanks for the help

                        • I haven't had the Bathmate for a long time (I have approx. 25 sessions under my belt) and I only occasionally pump to max. To be honest I can't really tell whether I exceed my BPEL (the scale is only really there for a guide as it depends upon the compression of the bellows) so all I'm really looking for is a good pump (whether it be low/medium/high pressure or a combination of all 3) and to gradually improve my max length in the pump whenever I pump to max pressure.

                          • Anyone having troubles with the x30/40 xtreme hand pump? For some reason I can't get it to work in the shower-only in the bath tub. I figured it might be because of the pressure at the different angle, but after trying to mimick the bath tub angle standing the pump doesn't work for crap. The handball deflates and does not re-inflate after each pump.
ive been using the pump for about 5weeks now every other day for 10-15 min session. I feel like the results I've gotten (visually looks thicker) have come from jelqing pre bath, ate session. If I could do it all over again I would have just stuck to manual exercises.

I was circumcised a few yrs back and have lost a lot of skin from this, when I use the bathmate, although my penis inflates girth wise it does not get anywhere nr erection length size( 7 inches). It is pulling up the skin and scotum making it painful and I have to deflate, I don't think it is liking to be stretched this way. There were no warnings this could be a problem. It simply won't pump even to my normal erect length let alone bigger. Could I just use it to extend the girth perhaps or is it a list cause ?

Thank you for your time, Jon.
Hey Jon, welcome to the Gym. Glad to have you here.

Harrison gets a lot of questions here, and probably just missed yours by accident. Do you mean it pulls the skin up from the base, along with the scrotum?

If it isn't even reaching the normal erect size, which the skin accommodates, then that probably isn't the issue. It might be seated off a bit at the base. Or, you may want to look into using a soft but somewhat tight hair tie to hold the skin in place so it doesn't pull when the pressure is applied.

I would imagine it could be used for girth alone, but the skin issue would still need to be addressed. Hope that helps Jon, and good luck!
