A real man never hurts a woman. The woman came out of a man’s rib, not from his feet to be walked on, and not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved. - Mrs. workin_4_it

    • Hey!

So I've been doing pe for a little while now, going through the JP90 routine. I've opted for a 2 on, and one off split. My goal in pe is primarily girth, as I'm below average in that area, and my understanding is that supplementing a pe routine with a bathmate can be a good way to increase girth gains.

So my penis is at the 6inch length and a little over 4 inch circumference size, and I'm wondering if I should get the hydromax x30? It seems like that is the one for me, but I wanted to ask before I go ahead and make a purchase.

Also, I'm not sure if there has been discussion about this on the forums, but how to people usually use a bathmate in conjunction with a routine? I was thinking I could use it as a warm up, or alternatively to me routine in the morning, and use the bathmate at night in the shower (I shower at nights mostly because my job leaves me in great need of a shower).

Anyways, I'd love to hear back on all this. Thanks!

Edit: As a supplement to this question since it hasn't been answered yet I have since originally writing this read a lot about guys getting their balls sucked up into the pump. Is this a common thing? I kind of think of myself as likely being on the "slow and steady wins the race" side of the typical users method of operation. I'd like to think that my gentler approach to the process might help me avoid the sorts of pains that others have experienced, but are there tried and tested ways to avoid these roadblocks along the way? Also what sort of things are the typical problems people encounter, and how can they best be avoided?

I'd really love someone with some experience to chime in on that.

      • I'm at 6.6" BPEL and 4.5" EG and I would like to know if I should keep pumping with my Hercules. There's one site said to be official and it says the right one for me would be the Goliath or X40, but other sites say that Hercules should be fine.

Also, what are the benefits of the hydromax over the originals ? Is there a study that it produces better/faster gains?

I'd fill it up with water in the shower, and go to enter it, but when I start to pump (as I pull it back towards my body) it ejects water as it should but it immediately pulls air back in, almost like the non-return valve isn't moving as it should be. I was able to make it work (sort of) if I kept my finger on the black button and pulled it back manually and sort of caught it on the upstroke of the pump to close the valve back up.

I did a little homework and found a YouTube video on how to clean the valve assembly and plan on trying that tonight, but I wanted to get some feedback and see if there was something I was missing.
I have the exact same problem with a 2 week old hercules pump, my bathmate hercules worked fine for a week, as of today the "black stick" at the top that goes up and down when you pump/ release stays up. And air gets in and i lose the vacuum.

I can somehow prevent it manually, by pumping. And when the water is out, i manually press this "black stick" down again so it's sealed... it works that way, but it's rather annoying.

Same problem with the X30, plus mine won't stay in the closed position if there's suction to it. If there is no suction it will click over to closed no problem, but once I get suction (by pressing down on the black open/closed button as I pump) I can push the button to the closed position and it will pop back over to open. I have to hold it in the closed position, if I don't the it will slowly suck in air.

Harrison, I'll try what you suggested above, but don't know that next step if that doesn't work. I just bought this in mid November.

                Thanks

                • This might be pure coincidence... but i've found that when I leave my bathmate standing up when I'm not using it, instead of laying it down, that I have no problems the next day I'm using it... Only used it twice so far, but haven't lost suction once.

Might all be coincidence, idk. But no harm trying it right? Seems to work for me.

                  (poor english, hope it's clear)

                  • Hey Lucas, I'm considering getting a bathmate soon but I'm torn between the x30 and x40. My erection length is usually in the range of 6 to 7 inches and my girth is 5.5 inches. Which model would you recommend?

                      Hello FrenchOnionSoup,

Happy New Year! I hope you achieve all of your goals that you have set forth in 2015!

The Hydyomax X30 is a great selection, it will be a perfect fit for your size.

In terms of people using the pump in conjunction with their routine, I have seen multiple different routines of people using their pump during, pre-workout and cool down. I am currently using my pump as a warm up.

My recommendation would be, if you have never used a pump before to just use the Hydromax X30 for the first 4 weeks by itself (depending on your conditioning, since you mentioned the JP90, I am assuming you may not have much experience with devices) afterwards I would do what fits best with your lifestyle. If you don't take showers/baths in the morning but you do your workouts in the morning then I would agree with you there is nothing wrong with using your pump at night in the shower.

I have unfortunately have been reading about a few guys experiencing the same problem on the forums as well, it is not a common issue at all but it does happen. Most have found that it is truly just user error, you want to make sure that the pump is positioned properly on your body. This will stop the balls from being involved at all.

Yes the "slow and steady" approach is an excellent idea, just as doing normal manual exercises you never want to feel pain. If using the Bathpump you feel pain then that means there is too much pressure.

One other common road block would be - some people have trouble getting proper suction. This is normally caused by excess pubic hair. It is recommended to trim the hair around the penis.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask! I look forward to seeing your progress.

                        Hello Hacermo,

Happy New Year! I am sorry that you are getting conflicting answers, you came to the right place to ask.

The Hercules/ Hydromax X30 are the perfect size for you to be using.

The Hydromax X30 has multiple benefits over the originals, with number 1 being 35% more suction which will help for even bigger gains! Others being a built in comfort pad for the base and having a locking valve instead of the push valve. I have been using my X30 for over 6 months now and couldn't imagine not having it anymore.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask!

                          Hello appje,

I agree with you it can be rather annoying when it doesn't work the way it is supposed to. If you are still experiencing problems try these next few steps.

-Press down hard on the valve several times
-Press down on the valve and turn it counter clockwise

If those two don't work, take off the valve and you will see a black washer squeeze on it several times and then reconnect the valve.

                          Hope this helps!

                              Hello Smeldin,

Those are both great pumps but for your size the best would be the Hydromax X30.

Perfect way to start the New Year!
