  • New SG, are my goals realistic?

First post here.. my SG is getting delivered today and I'm going to be posting my progress but need a little guidance first.

    I'm planning on working up to 6 hours/day 5 days/week (that's about 120hrs/month).

Based on what I've read to be good gains (1 inch per 1,000 hrs) here's what I'm thinking:

10/20/2014 Current measurements (no PE yet):
    6.06" BPEL
    5.25" EG

    GOALS:
    2/14/2015 6.5" BPEL
    6/5/2015 7.0" BPEL
    10/1/2015 7.5" BPEL

8" BPEL is my ultimate goal but I'd be more than happy at 7.5. I don't have specific EG goals but obviously would like to see some progress there.

Also with 6hrs/day in the SG should I be incorporating any other manual exercises? Should I expect any EG gains doing just SG?

Welcome il_coll84! Thanks for joining us here. Glad to have you with us.

Sounds like realistic goals. Maybe just a bit ambitious for the first one, as some time will be required to work up in tension and time. But overall, it looks like you have the right idea.

You can incorporate manuals if you want, but it's not necessary. It may help get the girth you seek as well.

Of course, consider total workload. Don't try and do a full manual routine in combination at first. Slow and easy to start, and see what PI's and body response does.

Some good reads below, if you haven't already.

I have a ton of extended wear time. In my experience, and in my discussions with others, 1500 hours for the first inch seems to be a little more realistic. Gains will of course diminish as well, so the same likely wouldn't hold true for an additional inch, etc.

But overall, pretty realistic. It'll probably take a year or so with your current plan. Not bad at all!

Law of diminishing returns, you won't gain at the same pace throughout. I think your goals are a little optimistic. You might achieve them, but I wouldn't bet on it. 1 inch in a year is much more realistic with your current routine and hours you intend to put in. PE is a difficult game. When you eventually gain an inch, you will see how difficult it is to gain that extra half inch, VERY. For example, I gained an inch in less than 6 months, but have not been able to gain another half inch since (9 months afterwards), despite way bigger effort, dedication, and more intense routines. Good luck anyway though, but be aware of these issues

I'm coming up on a month of pretty solid dedication and my BPEL went from 6 1/16" to about 6 3/8" (6.5 with a kegel). This is definitely real because I remember really straining to get that extra 1/16" when I started.

So thanks for your input because I was starting to think I was going to be like 12" a year from now haha

No problem mate, have a look at the two threads in my link in my signature, the top performers thread and league of legends thread. They might help you get an insight of some of the gains rates and possible time-frames of members. There is a good thread here too: https://www.pegym.com/forums/progres...challenge.html
