I see that 5.5-6.5 is average length
and the articles keep saying that above 7" length is rare and only like 5% of people have it which I feel like is not true

'is that really how it is that most of the population has under 7"

7 inches is on the large size. I'm on Kik, a chat room app, some of the groups I'm in are anything goes. Bunch of girls and guys flirting and posting nudes. I'm in groups local to my state and also groups that are national or global. In the same state groups, out of hundreds of guys that try to woo the ladies with pics of their dicks, I have only seen a couple relative to my size. In the national and global groups, I've seen about 5 out of hundreds. These are all real life people, not porn stars. Above 7 inches is above average.

I think it's just the average of the study they did. I started at 7" and I didn't look big at all. 5% of all adult males on the planet seems like a stretch.

7" is above average though. Anything over the average would be above average.

Two things:

And secondly I'm only 6.5x5 nbpl inches and women (although not black women) tell me my penis is big. I wanted an 8 nbpl but all I need to do is lose 50 pounds (big fat pad) and gain maybe 1.25 inches and I'm impressing every chick I come across. 7.5x5.5 and I'm golden mate.

Also when you watch porn look at the angle where the chick is giving the dude oral and you'll see most guys even black guys that look huge aren't much over like what 7.5 or even 7. You have to keep in mind women are smaller than us. This includes their hands.

I think one reason why so many of us feel that the national averages can't be correct, is simply because we have a hard time thinking we are big. That's a psychological reason. On a more day-to-day level, I personally have never seen another guy naked and erect. Tons of pictures and videos, but no face-to-face encounters, and definitely have never been next to a group of guys and all of us erect and checking each other out. Thus many of us don't have any real examples to compare ourselves to, just a bunch of numbers and pictures.

Well said and very true. The majority of us only have photos and porn to compare to, both of which can make even a below average penis appear bigger.

The central issue seems 2 fold . Firstly effects of porn which just should not be considered real and secondly head issues of course the one plays into the other.

You can still be average and rock a ladies world. I really don't think most care as long as you make them your focus and don't act selfish in the bedroom.
