Same reason as most other people; Insecurity and bedroom confidence. I think I like the "idea" of having a big penis more than I would like actually having one if that makes sense, because statistically speaking I am kinda already there in terms of volume but it doesn't make me feel any more confident.

See I'm friends with a lot of girls. Ones I have no intentions of having sex with (not because of their looks or anything). None of them ever mention cock size. They have said it doesn't matter at all. As long as the guy knows how to use the thing.

Technique is definitely preferred over a large member, but it doesn't mean girls don't want their guy to be packing something noticeably large. Maybe I just have been with the wrong girls. Kinda sucks how it's damaged my self-confidence.
