Has anyone noticed that for being supposedly statistically rare the big ones seem pretty common. I wish I could play the lottery with the same odds.

The big ones are more common than the people on here want to think. However, penises look bigger to people who are insecure about their dicks.

The big ones are out there just like the little ones; however, it is more common to find one bigger than average than one smaller than average. What is big depends on the person. My wife says I am big but I don't think so. Two diverse opinions. I am glad for the fact that the small ones are less common because I would not want a man to have to deal with that for real.

If anything, they speculate that the average actually may be lower then what are shown from surveys and studies, because the bigger ones are more likely to show up for measuring and, beeing more penis secure, to get erections and not be disqualified.
Self reportet measurement averages are always higher than those done by professionals.

Like the saying " perception is reality". If all you see are the big ones it is hard not to think they are way more common then we are being told and perhaps the average stats aren't really accurate. I mean I have been told 5.5"+ girths are supposed to be rare, but one look at this place and every other guy has this or more. I cant help but be self conscious. They seem to be way more common than most will admit.

Um, has it occurred to you that maybe guys with a 5.5"+ girth are that way because they post on a penis-enlargement forum? In other words, perhaps they *started out* significantly smaller but have made good gains? That's (primarily) what this place is for, isn't it?

Surely the stats for guys who've never done any PE are going to be a lot different from stats for guys who've done at least some PE - let alone the real senseis who've been at it for years - if it in fact does work at all.

Pre pe I was 4'75" girth I stoped at 6" girth at partners request. Pe makes your dick larger and so the normal stats are no longer relevant.

I find it hard to believe that 1% of men have an 8"+ penis. I think it might be more like 5% so 1 in 20 guys has a 8"er, I think that is closer to reality than 1%.

From both my partners and my past experience, most guys we encountered had 6 - 7" and not 8"+. One guy we knew had 10", but he was only one. Most of the guys within our friends are sporting 6 - 8" and not more. We are both monogamous, but have dated around and some guys do like to show off, even we are exhibitionists to some degree, just not into sex outside of the relationship. I personally tend to think the 1% is probably on par with penile size distribution among men. Again, our findings are not scientific, but based on what we witnessed and not a controlled study.

Well if there are about 6,300,000,000 people on the planet...
63,000,000 would have 8"+. Considering it's over two standard deviations away from the average size... Hrm... I think that sounds right.

Hey NP - one too many B's in your sig . As for the reason that larger penises seem to appear more frequently, it is because you are talking about penises in circulation, or ones that get exposure through either photographs, porn, or just sex with women. That number could be as high as 1 in 15 or 20 instead of the proposed 1 in 100.
