Its funny how everyone claims to have seen nine and ten inch penises like they are a common thing, but where is all the proof? Even on the internet, or in porn, nine inches is an EXTREME rarity, so its highly, highly doubtful that any one person has seen multiple larger than that in real life. I have never seen a ten inch penis that was a properly measured ten inches, even on the internet. Ever. This leads me to believe people like the OP are greatly exaggerating penis size, and probably their own size as well. 6-7 inches is not the average either.

Why is it that if you say anything outside of the accepted template here you get a response like this and similar responses. The reluctance to accept that maybe their preconceived notions of penis size may not be 100% correct is almost cult like. It almost reminds me of the man caused global warming debate. If you arent with Al Gore on this your just a labeled as a nut who probably thinks the world is flat(this was accepted as the truth also for a long time). The guy probably told you a Frank and honest story based on his observations and experience and this is the response. Ok, now lets all chant "size cant possibly matter" 50 times!

Because those who argue outside the accepted template rarely, if ever, have any evidence of their own to contradict the data provided by the numerous and fairly consistent surveys conducted since 1942. The arguments they use are invariably supposition and conjecture, often based on logical fallacies.

They are not preconceived notions; they are conclusions drawn from the available evidence. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that if anyone provides any evidence that contradicts the surveys conducted to date, provided that is not yet more hearsay, anecdote or conjecture, I will be completely prepared to accept it.

This time, I suspect we are on the same side of the debate. However it isn't the same thing at all. The global warming debate depends on collecting historic and current data and analysing an immensely complicated system to identify trends. It then tries to find reasons for those trends and from that to predict the future. Essentially it boils down to interpreting data amd fortune-telling.

Unfortunately, the sytem is so complex and some of the data is accumulated over such long periods, that it is often not clear which data is important and which isn't; how important or relevant one set of data is relative to another set of data; and what the data both sides accept is actually saying. Therefore both sides of the debate can produce credible evidence to support their argument. The evidence might not prove a particular theory, but the data itself is usually not in question. The global temperature was "A" at one point in time and "B" at another. Why that happened and what that means for the future is where the controversy arises.

This is not the case with the penis size data that we currently have. It is simple data, and it is simple to interpret (i.e to calculate averages, standard deviations, percentiles and so on). The only question is if the data itself is skewed, but nobody has yet proved that it is. Many have argued the case, but from what I have seen, they have produced no credible evidence at all to support their argument. All they have done is to once again speculate and produce anecdotes and hearsay to support that speculation.

The only very loose comparison I can think of, is a scenario where you are trying to discover what factors caused penis sizes to be what they currently are, by examining living subjects, cadavers and ancient remains; and using the data to predict what will happen to penis size in future.

But even if he is being honest, his experience is subject to his own personal interpretation - it can not be verified or independently observed.
