I was searching around the forums on the effects of Smoking and PE and found a lot of people saying smoking was bad for you(obviously) and your PE but that Nicotine in other forms(Gum, Patches, Lozenges) were OK. So I googled it. Here are 2 articles discounting these claims and should be motivators to quit both smoking and Nicotine!
The first article is by Time and really easy to read. It used smokers in the study and after quitting the smokers realized gains by doing nothing but stopping nicotine intake!

The second article is a scientific paper on the effects of nicotine on non-smokers. This was interesting because it was able to discount any long term effects of smoking/nicotine intake and concentrate on only the immediate effects of nicotine.
