I honestly don't know how jacking off with some other guy and at times jacking him/each other off cannot have any homosexual undertones. I've watched/discussed porn with friends, even the actual penis (but only in an anatomical viewpoint such as circumcision) but actually masturbating at the same time is just very strange and I would never do it.

Yeah, personally, I could never jack off in front of anyone. That's my private time. LoL You know. Something interesting, many guys talk to me "openly" about stuff that they say they can never tell another guy for fear of being called gay. I've realized especially in the US that men have authentic questions, problems, curiosities that can be construed as gay but have been conditioned to be homophobic in nature that when these things do arise, they hide it out of fear. I've counseled many men and find this conditioning detrimental to many guys' psyche. Men are "taught" man hugs, no homo this, bromance, etc...instead of calling it for what it is. Guys need attention, affection, understanding, companionship and not always necessarily from women. Seems that in this society, any type of bond amongst two men is viewed with a "queer" eyed.

Seriously, if a man was into jerking off around other men - it would indicate to me that he is gay & if so, he should pursue being gay because it will make him happy.

If he is straight, then I would not advise it because it may make him confused. Whatever makes someone happy - they should do.

I have met a few people who have asked me if I wanted to jack off with them. It seems a little gay.
Like... on the kinsey scale, between 0 (100% straight) to 6 (100% gay) it seems to tilt your sexuality closer to six.
I'm a 0 - guys sexually repulse me. Some don't mind it so much. Others like it a lot.

I think homosexuality/heterosexuality exist on a scale; most people defined as straight have a small leaning towards homosexuality, and vice versa.

I am straight, but I find the idea of jerking off and blowjobing another man interesting and slightly stimulating. I get a very mild erection thinking about it. However, the idea of penetrating or being penetrated by another man doesn't turn me on at all. Watching gay porn doesn't provide the same qualia (raw feels) as watching straight porn. That was my first reaction, but then I thought that homosexuality is defined by sexual attraction, which isn't completely necessary in that scenario. Regardless, my answer is no: I do not have a jerk-buddy, nor will I ever.

Wow! 2/5 men have, are, or want to bond with another man! Haha! I knew it!! I've met a lot of guys - ALL STRAIGHT - who have jokingly made comments about "being" with a "close male friend".

It could be a adaptive strategy for those who have difficulty finding female mates, since our biology programmes us in such a way that all human beings have sexual energy, and it has to be directed to someone else other than ourselves.

And since most men are of average attractiveness, it's then not surprising that they have slight homosexuality.

I am a firm believer in the hypothesis that only a relatively small percentage of men are completely gay or completely straight. I have at least 2 close friends (and one who died of AIDS early on) that I have known since junior high school and/or college. They all were chasing women and trying to get laid early on. If fact two out of the three of them were having much more success with women than I ever had at the time. All three ended up as gay (not bi) in their 30's.

I probably am somewhere in the middle range. I have not had sex with any one but my wife nor have "dated" anyone but women. But often I wonder what it would be like to jack off in the presence of a another man. No penetration, just a mutual presence.

The premise of this thread is about whether or not we have or have had JO buddies, so it really isn't about having penetrative sex, or what our main sexual orientation is.

It is interesting to me that with nearly 600 people reading the thread, only 27 members have voted on the poll, or made a reply, so far.

The stigma of possibly being perceived by others as being homosexual or "too gay" is still that influential, even with the anonymity provided by the Internet.
