Hi I've been working on my pf for a while now, but recently for the past few weeks I've experienced a sore PF from doing too much RK and also a decrease in EQ. I was just wondering if this is possible.
Why did you start doing rks?
Did you have a tensed PF?
I started doing RK's with the goal that it would help with my Pre e. I just read your post on a tensed PF and I realised that I may of been kegeling to try and counter the loss of EQ i was experiencing which may of been counter-intuitive.
How have you developed your training any sudden increase in volume or intensity ?
Do you have a log?
I've been holding a light RK throughout the day but my pelvic floor still feels very tensed and not stretchy and relaxed like earlier in the year. I do not have a log at the moment but will start one for consistency.
Would you recommend me to stop all PF exercises for a while or should I attempt to relax my PF with stretches and more RK?
The correct RK is not a PF pushing movement being produced by the muscle itself.
In other words it s not a movement like flexing the PF to take the shit out of your ass.
The correct RK is a pushing PF movement through the deep air breathing while you have your legs wide open and you are with the back on the bed or floor.
That s why the correct RK can not harm in any way if you have indeed a tensed PF muscle.
