I followed the last session with a shorter session, ejaculating at the end, because it had been too long and I wasn't getting anywhere like that.

    Today:
    14 minutes, PONR
    2 minutes, PONR

A little faster but a part of my brain is resisting the visualisation, in order to prevent heightening of arousal. It's a bit of a fight with myself each time. Trying to maintain equilibrium causes speed, intensity and visualisation to fluctuate a lot.

I've been putting most of my efforts into the edging but I know I need to increase my efforts in pelvic floor exercises. These have always been difficult for me, with my recurrent hemorrhoids. I need to take some time to think about what I'm capable of and work with that to expand my current routine.

I've always had the problem that once I reach PONR for the first time, stop and let the feeling subside, I reach the PONR again very quickly from then on and can't break the pattern. I have no idea why this is!

I could have gone for 20+ minutes again if I went dead slowly the whole time, but that seems pointless at this point. I need to be picking up the speed.

Results are probably bad because I haven't ejaculated in three days. It's so hard to find the time and privacy! I also need to be working out in the gym, mainly to fix the pre-E, but it's been difficult to get there more than once a week lately
I don't make any progress at this rate.

I'll try and edge again later if I have the time.
You should definitely start hitting the gym atleast 4 days a week if you can, use an upper/lower split or push/pull/legs(there's a lot of them on the internet). Working out has great benefits, apart from helping you fix a lot of problems that could lead to PE.

Are you noticing some patterns when this happens? Flexing your glutes, hamstrings, kegeling or maybe your heart starts beating really fast, etc. For example, when I get close to PONR I tend to hold my breath or my heart rate goes up, etc. You have to think "why does this happen?" and analyze yourself. There must be something to it.

Yes I notice the arousal signs, but as to why they occur again so quickly after the first stop is a mystery. I've been edging in complete tranquility, in a locked room, so there's nothing to disrupt my relaxation. I have found that I get short of breath at high arousal and resisting the urge to take a deep breath can help me last a little longer.

Anyway, today I tried to edge in missionary position and I'm back down from tens of minutes to number of thrusts. Pretty disheartening once again, seeing as this is the go-to sexual position for most sexual encounters. Page one sex. It's clear that I need to do what I said I'd do in my last post and shift focus away from edging and onto the pelvic floor exercises, if I want to make any serious progress. There's probably no point in edging for a little while, so this thread will go quiet until I have something to report. Of course when I do masturbate, it'll be in the healthiest way possible with regards to pre-E treatment.

I think that you need to do the deep-breath the entire session, breathe like everything's normal. What you're saying is totally right. Back then, when I used the kegel hold to stop myself, I'd resist the urge to take a deep breath which helped me last longer, but if you think about it, this is just the body's way of making you cum even faster, you're not breathing like everything's normal so whenever you think or feel that you're about to cum you'll most likely not breathe, feel like you're lasting longer which in fact makes things worse. Atleast this is my point of view.

Yes but I don't hold my breath, I continue to breathe with regular, shallow breaths, making sure there is no change in my breathing pattern. It's helpful.
