  • PE is an impossible puzzle

    Guys, I've been been trying to fix my premature ejaculation every since I became sexually active. And nothing is working. It's making me desperate and depressed. I'd like to pick your brains to see if I missed any techniques that I can try.

    Here's a small summary of the things that I've tried.

    • Desensitizing sprays: I can have good luck with these, but it's no guarantee. And I don't like being dependent on those at all.


    • I've tried front kegels every day for half a year. The muscles are strong enough to achieve a retrograde ejaculation, but that doesn't solve the issue. The second orgasm is just as quick. And by the third my erections starts to fail. These kegels only made PE much worse. In hindsight, this is reported on this forum to be a common issue.


    • After that I started doing reverse kegels every day since two years ago. They were difficult at first, but slowly and steadily I made clear progress. They're very easy to do for me now. I do them while sitting at my desk, when walking, driving my car, etc. But they have given me no relief from PE.


    • Squats / hindi squats, planking, bridges and other core exercises daily since three months. Too early to tell maybe.


    • General physical exercise: Been doing these all my life. I look really fit. Very happy with my muscular body. Cardio could be better though.


    • Eating healthy: Again doing that all my life, give or take the occasional cheat-meal. No PE relief.


    • Alcohol used to be a good option. I drink very little, so with a few drinks I could last a good time. But that stopped working. Right now, even getting wasted doesn't prolong it anymore.


    • Start/stop technique: Doesn't work. I can have sex for a few minutes, then stop when I feel an orgasm approaching, start again and cum immediately. It's like my junk saves my progress and just continues where it left off.


    • Squeezing technique: Doesn't work for me. Even if I squeeze hard enough to induce severe pain.


    • Supplementing magnesium. I have ADHD and I was advised that most of us suffer from very low magnesium. Low magnesium also tends to worsen PE. Therefore I've been supplementing it in various forms for a few years now. No noticeable PE relief.


    • Supplementing with zink, selenium, piracetam, noopept, fasoracetam, boron, all vitamins under the sun, chrysin, creatine, iodine, agmatine, DHEA, and what not. Made some very expensive pee.


    • Edging without orgasm & edging with orgasm: OMG both these made PE so much worse, I quit that immediately. Much regret!


    • Dapoxetine: Although I hate using pills for something that I should be able to do by myself. And I hate being dependent on pills. But in my desperation I tried dapoxetine 60mg. Hallelujah, it worked like a miracle. I had sex and I had full control. I fully enjoyed that so much! This is how it's supposed to be. It also gave me a headache, but that was a tiny price to pay for such a solution. But it worked only that one time! All other times I tried after that it only gave me a headache. Any advise on this? What does it mean that it worked only once? I feel like answering that question may hold the key to knowing what's wrong with me. And thus pointing me to the right direction for a real solution.


    • Paroxetine, basically it's the same thing as above. And I tried it after dapoxetine stopped working. Similarly, paroxetine only gave me the headache.



    • Sildenafil & Tadalafil: Don't need them for what they're intended for. But I saw guys mention that they delay their ejaculation. Some can't even ejaculate while on these, so I thought I would try. No effect on PE.


    • NOFAP? Nope, I never fap, I have a very understanding and loving wife. And no, I don't watch porn either. Maybe I should for desensitizing purposes? I'm just not into it.


    • IC muscle training. I hoped it would do something to relieve my premature ejaculation. It did work wonders for erection quality! I was already happy with the quality, but after only a few weeks of training the IC I'm noticeably harder. And spontaneous erections and morning wood are much more frequent. Definitely can recommend for EQ!


    • Meditation, I read somewhere it was supposed to work. Admitted, I was very skeptical about this, so maybe I sabotaged my attempts myself.


    • Wim Hof breathing exercises: These are great! Clears my head like nothing else. But nothing yet to alleviate PE.


    • Cold showers, swimming in icy water: Lovely, but again, does nothing for PE.


    • Osteopath: I visited one for my bad back. She told me that I have a lot of tension and/or stress everywhere in my body. The tense muscles pull and hurt my back. She could feel that my pelvic floor is also full of tension. "It's impossible that you do not have sexual problems. Am I correct?" she said. That was spot on. She applied all kinds of techniques that were extremely relaxing. Later that day I had sex with my wife. Again I had full control. It was amazing, just like with the dapoxetine! And without pills, alcohol or any external help. All credits went to the osteopath. Later that week I had sex again and some of the control was still there, but less then the previous experience. So I repeated my visit to the osteopath, but the control never came back again. Even after repeated treatments.



    Now I have no idea anymore what to do or try. I want to try everything there is before resorting to desensitizing the most sensitive part of my manhood with a soldering iron. (Joking, sort of...)

    Please, any advise is so very welcome!

    So I don't have PE as such, I don't last for ages but I wouldn't say it's PreE for me so I'm not speaking from experience here - it sounds like you've already tried so much. Here's just a couple of thoughts I had, that may or may not work, but if I were you I'd try them as it seems you've tried almost everything!

    - what about trying thicker condoms? To desensitise a bit, like the extra safe ones you can get that tend to be a bit thicker. Maybe even 2 of them at once?

    - what about if you had a wank earlier in the day before sex? So if you think you might be having sex at say around 10pm, what if you masturbated around 10am or midday, see if that has any effect? So its early enough that enough time has past so you can still get hard again but might last longer?

      Thanks for you reply. I actually did try having a wank prior a few times. But then when I have sex I'm still to fast, only a bit less motivated. Never tried the thicker condoms though. Haven't touched those in 20 years.

      Currently I'm reading the success stories sticky. Good for motivation.

        Hi Jean luc, people who nerver had Pre E can not undertand this. I have so bad Pre E that I would cum just from fingering a girl with my pants on.

        Xlavius, thanks for sharing. At leats you have learnt what doenst work. Also sharing your exprience can save times for others to focuse on new exersices. Good job. There have been a lot of work from you.

          Hey Xlavius,

          this may not be a permanent fix but it's a work around.

          When ever I feel the need I use penis rings with lg hanger girth bands to extend sexual interaction.

          Adding 1-3 metal rings around a girth band (depending on where you place them) you can easily adjust the amount of pressure/bloodflow of your member. It's possible to wear them erect. If erect and they are too tight then they can block semen ejaculation. (which I don't recommened).

          They are best worn so that the penis seems a bit numb but not to an extrem point where he turns blue.

          I usually use 1 girthband and 2 metal rings/metal cockrings (in my case 36mm inner diameter). It's super effective and it gives me the feeling I could go on for a much longer time. It feels a bit like clamping.

            I don't know about that. What doesn't work for me can easily be the solution for others. I've been reading the success story sticky and lots of people have had success with techniques that did nothing for me. So would hate it if my post would discourages others from trying the things that I listed.

              Out of sex RK's are easy to do, but are you utilizing them during sex to combat IK's? Do you get IK's? Are you holding a kegel during sex? Is your pelvic floor still naturally tense during arousal?

              I know that without IK's, ejaculation is easily achievable with high arousal. If you believe your pelvic floor is sorted and balanced, look into controlling your arousal levels.

                  I discovered about a month ago that Flomax (Tamsulosin) gave me total control. However, it gave me retrograde ejaculations. Because of this I'm taking a break this week from the medicine. I'm concern about prostate cancer (my dad was diagnosed this year with prostate cancer) if I'm not getting rid of the "poison." Supposedly, the ejaculation gets redirected to the bladder, but I'm not convinced in my case. Unfortunately, this medication takes 2 days for me to work and it has been 2 days since I stopped taking it and I still have retrograde ejaculations--so, it's not an on-demand medicine for me.

                      I don't IK during sex. I sometimes do it voluntarily though, but that does speed up the climaxing. I do not know if my pelvic floor in naturally tense. I wouldn't know how to detect that. According to the osteopath that I described in my opening post it is so tense that she deemed in impossible for me not have sexual problems.

                        I'm a firm believer it's tension and/or high arousal. Performance anxiety comes to mind but, you'd have to make such a determination.

                        I'm wondering if the pre-e is the same for every position? I remember back in my days certain positions would make me tense up, destroying the experience, whereas other positions were the total opposite.

                            I'm quick in all positions. Some positions, the ones that I enjoy most, are even worse though. Like prone position.

                              Edging has to be done with purpose. You didn't describe how you were edging but it's not just about wanking for a long time. It should be done to teach yourself to be in control of your PF while being stimulated. Sounds like you have a lot of tension in those muscles (I didn't seen any PF targeted stretching in your post - do that) and I would be you contract from stimulation even if you might not feel it. So when you're edging, lightly press a finger or two into your perineum to see how relaxed you can make it. It might feel relaxed so stop stimulation and see if you can feel it change - you might feel it relax when you thought it already was. Start stimulation again and see if you can feel it tighten - your objective should be to do that for a while as you learn to manage the contractions of the PF muscles. And then, at some point you take what you learned there into sex with your partner (or perhaps a Fleshlight as a transitional element).
