  • MY HONEST Tips/Advice/Supplemets to OVERCOMING PREMATURE EJACULATION

MY HONEST TIPS on HOW TO OVERCOME PREMATURE EJACTULATION:

Just to give you a background: I had been struggling with PE for about 3 years and had built up anxiety towards the subject. I tried herbal pills, creams, prescription drugs, alcohol, marijuana; and literally nothing changed. It wasn't untill I came across this site and realized that my PC/BC muscles were completely out of wack. Because of poor masterbation habits, stress, and anxiety, my PC muscles were literally ALWAYS tense ( I just thought it was normal to feel tense in that area) Anyways, long story short... after daily Kegal/RK excercises, breathing techniques, learning to controll my arousal by using the arousal scale, and becoming more in tune with my bodies reactions to stimuli, my PE has improved dramatically ( I don't even consider myself to really have PE anymore )

    AROUSAL and AROUSAL CONTROL
    :

A HUGE part of arousal for me, (and i think this a VERY IMPORTANT tip; learned from an eBook) is to obtain a PHYSICAL erection, as opposed to a Psychological erection. In other words, don't use your thoughts/emotions to serve as a catalyst for your erection.. Let the physical stimulation of touch cause the erection.. I always thought I simply wouldnt be able to get it up without thinking sexual thoughts. What I did not know was that the physical stimulation of your nerves on your penis was all it took. ( I probably got into believing this notion by constantly masterbating with porn) If you let your erection come from physical stimuli, as opposed to mental stimuli.. NOT ONLY will your arousal be at a lower level from the start of sex, but I find its much easier to control your arousal in general.

    ANOTHER IMPORTANT tip
about arousal (which I also learned from an eBook ) ... is to be relaxed BEFORE your sexual encounter, not when it begins. Whether its taking deep breaths, doing rk's to relax your PC, or mentally relaxing your mind, it is essential to try and be in a relaxed state BEFORE your encounter.

THE TIPS I USE during SEX:

I find the most useful thing to do to keep my arousal under control is to combat an involuntary kegal with a soft/long Reverse Kegal (about 2-4 seconds). I do this by expanding my belly while taking a deep inhale and pushing down on the pelvic region. Also, SELF TALK is great: " I'm going to go ahead and bring my arousal down a notch"

What I also found very useful was to every so often do the same soft/long Reverse Kegal. If you feel a slight increase in arousal, simply RK and remind your body to keep your PC region RELAXED. This gives me much greater awareness on just how relaxed my PC muscles really are and also keeps them in check. I found that there are times when I think I'm completely relaxed, yet my but cheeks are actually tightening; creating tension in these muscles.. I can't tell you how many times I thought my PC muscles were completely relaxed, yet I was tense in certain areas... Simply take a deep breath with a soft RK (expanding your belly simultaneaously), and on your exhale.. let your bellly sink along with your pelvic region.

SUPPLEMENTS: I found some very useful information on healthy supplements that are great for mainting a balanced body, both physically and mentally.

L- Methionine : ( Found this at VitaminWorld; Whole foods carries it too, and im sure many other health stores) This supplement helps with the breakdown of histamine in your blood and serves as an essential amino acid. I've heard some GREAT success stories with this supplement on other forums. Histamine can also play a HUGE factor in the overall state of your muscles. Too much histamine = tenser muscles.( I take about 1500mg/day).. They come in 500mg pills normally. I found out that my blood levels were high in histamine; causing me to sweat more, be anxious, loose concentraion, tense my muscles easier, and so on. You should look into Histamine; it can have a profound effect on the body and arousal.

    Magnesium:
I found that i was not getting enough Magnesium in my daily diet. Magnesium is essential for blood flow and carrying essential nutrients throughout the body. It is also said that overall, it leaves the body feeling more relaxed. I take 500mg daily.

Anti-Histamine: I take an Anti-Histamine every night, before I go to bed. These can be obtained OTC ( Zyrtec, Allegra, etc). Some people who are extremely high in histamine even take these before sex. I've also heard great success stories by taking an anti-histamine daily.

(I definitely encourage you guys to reserach histamine and its symptoms to see if your blood levels are high in this chemical. )

    I STRONGLY BELIEVE
that almost all cases of PE can be overcome in a natural/hollistic way. It may take more time for others, and will most certainly require your dedication, but stick to your exercises ( Kegals/RK's , Breathing Technqiues, arousal control) and you will only progress.

Remember: CONFIDENCE is KEY....... Go into sex with a positive attitude. Go into sex as if you're a pro at it. Go into sex knowing you will be able to have long, passionate sex. (Self-talk is HUGE)...... FAKE it till you MAKE it my friends; The mind is the most powerful tool we have.

    You WILL overcome this.

Thanks everyone. I hope this post had some beneficial use to you.

( I will answer any questions you may have for me as soon as I can )

Some more useful TIPS: (Food For Thought)

I read that you don't have to necessarily start, at let's say a "2 or 3" on the arousal scale; you can actually be at a 7 before ANY physical stimulation even occurs. This is exactly why men with PE can't last. We get so excited right at the beginning of sex and cannot handle the arousal scale of a 7 in such a short amount of time. You can literally jump from a 7 to a 10 in a matter of 15 seconds. I cannot stress enough how important Self-Awareness is. You need to be aware/conscious of how your body is reacting to certain stimuli. That's the whole purpose of practicing edging and Start-Stop techniques. Am I wrong?

For me personally, whenever I feel something that sets me over the top (to a higher level on the arousal scale), I take a deep belly breath and use a quick/soft reverse kegal (about 2-4) seconds long. I like to hold my breath for 5 seconds ( gives me leverage, if that makes sense), and then exhale through slowly. I also read if you keep you tongue against the top of your mouth (palet), you transfer energy from the pelvic region more efficiently with your breath. ( It's a Tantric technique). Hope this helps!

          Good luck to you all!

Very nice, thanks for writing it up

Could anyone link to anything reputable regarding histamine and premature ejaculation/ejaculatory control? I've never heard it discussed before and i'd like to read more about it.

I would look it up myself but I'm on my phone with crap network coverage so speed and bandwidth are extremely limited

You can search "Premature Ejaculation and high histamine" on google and you'll find some credible posts, as well as some forums that discuss the relationship between the two.

But i would always feel very refreshed that next day like i got the best sleep of my life.

anyways, imma follow exactly what you have done. my dick is hella sensitive where the nerves are though. do you experience that? or did?

I thought the same thing when I was researching it. I had about 75-80% of the symptoms. I've been taking Magnesium, L-Methionine, Fish Oils, and a Anti-Histamine (Zyrtec) on a daily basis. I've definitely noticed a change in tenseness in my pelvic region. I have also noticed an increase in stamina, as well. Not sure if there is more from the supplements, or my exercises. Could definitely be both

Here's what I take on a regular basis: (Been doing it for about 2 weeks now and things have been going well.

                    L-Methionine : 1500mg ( 3 x 500mg )
                    Fish Oil (Tuna Omega-3) : 4800mg ( 4x 1200mg capsules morning/night)
                    Anti-Histamine (Zyrtec) : 10mg (one before bed)

In addition, I' am taking my regular dosage of B-vitamins.
                    Sensitivity:

As far as sensitivity goes, YES, I definitely was. I've learned that arousal control, in addition to edging and ballooning, have helped a lot with my sensitivity. I feel that sensitivity is part mental. Learn to control arousal (Keeping pelvic floor relaxed at all times), and become familiar with how your body is reacting to stimuli. This familiarity with physical touch will decrease arousal, and sensitivity .. in my opinion .

I've heard from many sources that PE has absolutely nothing to do with sensitive glands or nerves. There have been studies that have tested sensitivities between patients with and without PE.. No difference what so ever. I'll try to find the sources

                    Hope this is useful.

thanks for the reply. i just picked up some of the L-Methionine, so il see how it goes. Im hoping this can help with some involuntary kegels. I rk when i feel an involuntary kegel happening, but sometimes its so sensitive that it still tenses up.

i agree with you tho. i dont think my dick being super sensitive is causing pe sometimes. i think its since it is so sensitive that it causes my arousal to shoot up. pr doesnt happen all the time but i hate it when it does so i want to fix it.

Thanks for the tips but why take Zyrtec a drug that may lead to side effects? Try taking Ginger its a anti-Histamine and also acts as a antioxidant.

Congrats on the progress and confidence. So how long were u lasting at sex and how long are u lasting now? All this is fine and dandy, but the real test and practice comes during real sex. Hope you don't have to take all that junk for too long and that training slowly to real sex is your main effort/intake.
                          Started MAY 2011 BPEL 5 and a 1/2 inches. EG 5 and a 1/2 inches.
                          Now MAY 2012 BPEL 6 and a 1/2 inches. EG 5 and a 1/2 inches.
I have cured myself of prem ejac, now I am working on a bigger shlong.
