    3 months back I discovered I had porn related ED. During my recovery I relied on kegels to help get and maintain an erection. After 3 months without porn my ED has faded, but now I am suffering from pre E. My PC muscles are out of control. I find myself holding contractions at times for no reason. When I enter my girl I immediately lose control and cum quickly.
    I'm using this thread to track my progress. I had staying power prior to this, only problem is I wasn't aware of how I was in control.

    I have been working on RK's to stop the IK's. I have been doing meditative RK's and edging. The edging sessions are similar to plateau edging Annonite(?) wrote about. I have had good luck with my hand going for 30 minutes, but when I use my STU I have a lot of trouble. When I'm with my girl, forget about it. I can't even RK properly.

    Right now I do a mix of hand and STU to go for 30 minutes. My short term goal is STU edging for a full 30mins.

      Congrats on beating porn related ED!


      That's it, keep practicing and work on your reverse kegels, learn to relax your pelvic floor as you gently push out to reverse kegel, it takes time to master but you will get there, after a while when you are having no problems doing RKs in one position, try doing them in different positions so you will be more able to do them while having sex.

        Nice one on starting a log. Good idea to mix up the edging with hand and stu, a lot of guys just aim for " x" amount of time in an stu and seem to make slower progress. This way your still continuing after it's too much and retraining your quick trigger.
        Update as much info as you can as you go. Kegel routine, other exercises / stretches, edging etc.

          I have been using the hand/STU combo edging so far. I discovered there are certain positions where I could edge forever without losing control, however if i was thrusting I would. I decided to use this for the first several minutes as a get in the groove warm up, then do some thrusting as long as I can before switching back.

          I also took a similar approach at sex. During foreplay when my girl knows she will be able to orgasm she will jump on top and go to town in an attempt to cum before i do. It's great that she gets off, but i am unable to ever establish any control and usually cum right when she does. Last time we had sex i first went down on her to give her some satisfaction, then i took top. I went really slow to try to get relaxed while inside of her. I used control breathing and tried to RK even though it didn't feel like I was doing a full RK. She got off and to my surprise I was able to stay in control of myself through the moaning and her movements. I lasted a few minutes more and was happy with myself. It feels a little awkward going extremely slow cause she's looking at me wondering what I'm doing, but it helped

          I also have been jelqing. I started doing this when trying to cure my ED. I found it helpful mentally to have a positive experience with my less than fully erect friend. And now i find it helpful to spend time partially stimulated that doesn't reach the PONR.

            i had experienced a lot of non aroused IKs and noticed a little soreness when I would RK to stop them. Figured i leave everything alone for 2 days before doing RKs again. When I edged again I had a bad session. The next night I had sex with similar results. My girl took top and got off quickly, but it came first. Glad she got off, but she goes so fast and hard that i can't establish control of myself. Next time i'll take top.

              If you're sore definitely take a break. Don't let a bad session bother you, and same with sex, keep a happy but focused look on it and just keep edging.
              Are you still mixing stu and hand aiming for 30?

                I have been 95% STU. I use my hand just to get started. Once ready for the STU I do non-thrusting mixed with thrusting. I'll thrust for as long as I can and then go back to non-thrusting for a few minutes, then when I feel confident I thrust again.

                I think part of my problem is I can't RK with movement. I noticed if I stand still I can't hold a RK and contract my glutes.

                I know I IK throughout the day, but maybe it's normal during certain movements and I'm just overly aware of them due to the attention I have given my PF. Trying to stop these are frustrating. I am now trying to focus only on stopping IKs when I'm edging or doing other PF exercises.

                Holding RKs during movement is my focus.

                  Started edging with my hand and used my other hand to press between my balls and anus. I noticed that when i release a RK, I do a light kegel. I was doing this everytime. I decided to start at the beginning and edge with only my hand until I can solve the kegel issue.

                  I also think i need to replicate results of my edging sessions before i try to advance. I think i had one good session and tried to build on it too soon.

                    Taking it slow and working your up will serve you better. A lot of people seem to be attempting too much too quick.

                      I have done three edging sessions with just my hand. Two yesterday and one this morning. All three went well, but i want to do a few more before i bring back my STU.

                      I have been stretching and doing meditative RKs right before my edging sessions. During edging i use rk's to keep me under control. I want to keep this routine going even though it takes up a chunk of time. I've notice clumping it together lead to less non sexual IKs during the day. When i broke up the stretches, meditation and edging, i did the same amount of work,but the relaxing effects didn't last as long afterwards.

                        Yesterday morning I did my 4th consecutive edge session with just my hand. It was my best one yet. I had a full erection the entire time. Usually during the first 20 minutes I lose some of my arousal from time to time, but this time i was almost 100% from start to finish.

                        I find after a while, usually 15-20 mins, I get to a point where I can bring myself to the brink of orgasms and just stay there. I let my imagination run wild and get 100% aroused. It's pretty intense and sometimes I stop edging just to catch my breath. During this time I have a powerful connection with my PF and can do hard RK's that i can't normally do. It's almost like I'm about to cum but instead of doing a kegel, I do a RK and it happens very easily. In fact, I have to let myself kegel when i decide the time is right.

                        I have only achieved this with my hand so far. I had sex last night and struggled with doing RK's. I felt sexually drained before we even started and I think it was from my edging session, plus it was late and I had a few beers in me. I don't know how long i lasted, but it wasn't much over 10mins and my orgasm was weak. I'm taking today off from all exercises so i can recover.

                        Next time i edge i will have my STU lubed and waiting. I want to see if i can reach that same point of arousal and control and then switch to my STU maintaining that control.

                          This thread is really helpful.

                          i have the same issues switching between hand and STU.

                          not sure if it's the stimulation or the thrusting movement but I also notice a lot more uncontrollable IKs using STU.

                          one thing that help is if I gently massage my PF while thrusting but this isn't practical during sex.

                          let us know if you find anything that works or if you notice hand edging does in fact translate over to STu edging.

                            I did my edging session last night after i got back from the gym. I think that was a mistake, i felt different overall and it probably was do to the effects of my workout. My goal was to edge with my hand until i reached the point of max arousal and full control that i experienced in my last two sessions, then use my STU. I couldn't get myself to the feeling of complete control, just didn't happen. I noticed a lot of IKs and the first 20 minutes felt like forever. Maybe i just wasn't there mentally.

                            I edged with my hand for 20 minutes, then did the last 10 with my STU. Good session, just not exactly what i was going for.

                            I will try again to reach full control before switching to my STU next session. I want to be in full control first so i can practice RKs while thrusting since i have a hard time doing RKs during sex. I already know i can edge with my STU sitting still for long periods of time, but it's the thrusting that is the challenge.

                              Good work, keep it up. For me I find that physical workouts seem to take a lot of my blood into my major muscle groups and for several hours after a workout it is hard for me to do PE and entice the blood to stay in my penis. I don't know if that is the case for you, but it has been that way for me. Enjoy your journey.
