  • Stan, whats the reason for not just stretching for 20 minutes per day vs just split it up into 4-5 sessions per day ?

    Also are you still stretching everyday or are you taking 1-2 rest days per week or maybe low intensity days ?

      Reading the last pages, I saw the experiment of low EQ. How is your Kegel routine to go to 10/10 EQ?
      Do you Kegel everyday or every other day? What's your Kegel/Reverse ratio?
      I'm struggling with low EQ and don't know what to do...
      12/DEC/14 - 6.3 BPEL, 5.7 EG *started manual stretches
      13/FEB/15 - 6.7 BPEL *JP90 started
      short term goal: 7 BPEL, 5.7 EG, 100% EQ
      long term goal: 8 BPEL, 6 EG, iron hard erections.

        There are several reasons.
        It's mainly to avoid putting too much uninterrupted stress on the glans, including the repeated soap washes I'd need in order to keep a fresh grip. That's basically why I started doing it that way, but from a gains point of view, it makes sense to me to spread out the stretching sessions as much as possible, so as to give less time for the ligs to "heal" back to their default stretched length (my BPFSL is always much less first thing in the morning for instance).
        Also, a single longer session would be pretty boring

        Random kegels spread throughout the morning and targeted as much "to the front" as possible seem to help me get my best EQ. I keep the reverse kegels for my evening erect work, to get to maximum expansion, but that's just me.
        Chronic low EQ may have other causes than just improper kegeling. Do you have trouble getting it up at all? Keeping it up? Or just achieving a consistent 10/10?

        • I used to get 9/10, without trouble before, but I got a psychological ED 6 months ago and since the recovery my EQ is low before penetration. I have trouble keeping it up in some sexual positions too (poor sensation), i get a 10/10 only on doggystyle.

            • I have a perfect erection when masturbating. The same when I'm doing dry jelqs. It looks like I'm accostumed with a tight grip. But I stopped masturbating when I stopped watching porn. I hope to maintain a better erection during sex.

                • It was 2 weeks ago, until yesterday when I masturbated again. During sex my ejaculation control is fine, I can wait hours without cumming. And I usually can't orgasm in less than 15 minutes, so I never cum when doing a quickie.
                  I think that I won't be able to stop masturbating, because my wife has a low libido nowadays and that's driving me crazy.

                      Good, then maybe try short (2-3 seconds) repeated heavy front kegels while in the act, whenever you feel your erection level is too low. You can alternate them with heavy reverse kegels too, for that pumping effect. That seems to always work for me when in need of a higher erection level.

                      This isn't meant as a replacement for your regular outside-of-stimulation kegel workout: there you should try to hold them as much "to the front" as possible, as hard as possible, for as long as possible, with a couple shorter lighter reverse kegels thrown in.

                      (disclaimer: this is all IMO/IME!)

                      Since your EQ is good when masturbating, could it be said that masturbation is more pleasurable to you than sex in some way, or maybe somehow less stressful?

                      Yes, up until I hit my first BPFSL plateau, then later when I started using downward stretches and broke out of the plateau. Totally correlated to gains IME, and I've learned to recognize a good stretch instantly. Which will lead me to my next post.

                      • So, it's unlikely that I will gain anything from my current routine. I haven't been feeling any of that good fatigue, even after I added some regular lock stretches, and max BPFSL doesn't seem to have budged from 10"15/32 for a long time now.

                        Time for a change!

                        I know I can gain more BPFSL with downward stretching, and even if I don't gain any actual BPEL but only lose some erection angle, it will still make me look longer, as seen earlier this year, and I can totally afford to lose yet another couple of degrees.

                        It seems the short ultra-intense lock stretches help me get to max BPFSL quicker, so I'm going to keep them, and start measuring only when the base doesn't move anymore when performing them, keeping the daily measurements to a minimum so I don't hurt the skin at the base.

                        I'm keeping some shock stretches, they still feel good loosening things up, and maybe one regular straight out lock stretch at the beginning of each session as a kind of warm-up before the downward stretches.

                        I'm reintroducing the box stretch, which really does a wonderful job at leaving my flaccid hang completely relaxed. The temporary girth gains that made me stop it were almost certainly caused by the jelqing I also used to do at the time.

                        As usual I will end every session with the old power shake.

                        This is all still in an experimentation phase, I will post the detailed routine when it's better organized.

                        • Stan that's the problem I am having. How do you detect good fatigue ? What are the signs and how does the penis feel and behave ?

                          • I feel it in the ligs in the first few inches while stretching. It's hard to describe, it doesn't hurt but feels like it could really hurt if I stretched harder (which I can't). The ligs then feel relaxed (to the touch too) and flaccid hang is longer and softer for a while. But that's just me.

                            • Stan, do you perform any sort of warmup before going on with your routine ?

                              I personally do a 5 min warmup and a 5 min warmdown. I've heard mixed opinions about warming up. Some people say its to prevent injury. But does it actually have an effect on gains ?

                              I would love to hear your side opinion on this subject.

                                I understand the logic behind warming up, but I've never done it because I'm too lazy. So although I believe it's a good idea, I don't have an educated opinion on the subject.
