why do some friendships end

Hi thought id post on this since it has already been discussed on...

I thought about something... why do whenever i like a girl.. it stop liking her after a while and i no longer like them... i wonder how someone stays married for 20 years and not get bored or get over them.

the longest ive ever liked/loved a girl was 2-3yrs and after 4yrs i just never felt it at all anymore.. does our mind want something new and is it bored of the same person?

People do change over time. Also, sometimes the person you first meet isn't who the person really is, fundamentally. I've learned this countless times, both with people whom I used to call friends or close friends, and also girls I have dated in the past.

Sometimes stuff like this just happens, I was recently at the butt end of a friendship as it ended, no matter how much I tried to keep that friendship together, but if you feel like you still want to be friends with this person and they mean a lot to you, which it seems so, then the only thing you can do is try and talk to them. It may not turn out of course, but won't know unless you try.
