Only land owners could vote because only land owners payed taxes. If unions are all that why do union bosses make millions? Anyone who says they were forced to work for pennies had to have a gun to their head (knife to throat) No one is forced to work at all in this country except for dads who owe child support or alimony.

If we keep voting our freedoms away it will end up like that eventually. We already have the least intelegent people on earth graduating from high schools and colleges. It is already becoming almost impossible to pay for college for that matter. This is just the begining. The conservatives want dumb people so they can rule over them easier. This for now seems like a far fetched theory but it is slowly coming to pass. You have to have a brain in order to have unions. We are becoming a nation that has a small wealthy class and a large dumb poor class. Because the middle class that igsist now keep falling for conservative garbage disguised as family values.
