He stated he didn't think women noticed the fat pad (true, in my opinion). And, that they would be more likely to notice belly fat (also true, in my opinion)
First of all, I appreciate all answers...
I didn't ask if women notice belly fat. It's obvious.
Belly fat is not sexy. Can't argue. EOT.
I asked how would women react when have sex with a man that have average NBPEL but longer than average bpel.
"Smallish" when see it first time, but "ok" when touch and press fat pad?
English is obviously not my first language, so sorry for confusion.

As the name of the measurement implies "bone-pressed erect length", you want to push the ruler into the fat pad until it reaches the pubic bone. I suggest taking measurements three times, and using the longest one for tracking purposes.

I don't think that's true. I encourage you to start taking the things you "hear" with a grain of salt. I think it would be very difficult (rare) for someone to have a low body fat percentage, but just have a large fat pad in the pubic region. Again, if there's any of you out there that truly are ripped but for some reason have an abnormal amount of fat still in your pubic region, please correct me. I'm always willing to learn something new! :-)
When I was in bodybuilding show shape my fat pad was still near .75", its like I have two discs of fat in my pubic region. I don't believe it got down to even .5". It's unfortunate.... Now, that is a bit high, but not extreme. At a more comfortable weight, not fat, it is around 1.25".
      Initial(9-1-11): BPEL: 7.25", BPSFL: 7.75", EG: 4.75", BEG: 5.25", BPFL: ~5.0", FG: ~4.0"

Realistic Goal: BPEL: 8.5", EG: 5.5"
Idealistic Goal: BPEL: 9.0", EG: 6.0", BPFL: 7.0", FL: 5.0"

My UK one just has name, D.O.B and address plus a photo of course. Weight just seems like on odd one as it could change a lot in the course of a year, then you have to explain to the officer that you lost/gained 300 lbs ha ha

It is just an identifying feature, and in many's case a reminder of just how far you've become!

Well, I guess I can only state these things again - perhaps you missed these points in my original response to you.

            1. Your size is not "smallish". It's above average. So, IF a woman were to judge your penis size currently, then it would likely be similar in size to what she's seen on other men. So, she likely wouldn't think anything of it.

            2. Most women do NOT judge a man's penis size, right before they're about to have sex with said man, unless it's abnormally large or abnormally small.

Someone made the point (when talking about porn) that men are more visual in nature than women. I think that's true. I think that's why guys are so worried about how they appear. And, I'll tell you, it's WAY more important how you make the woman FEEL than how you look - both in and out of the bedroom.

Please listen when I say this --

The absolute best lover I've ever had -- one that to this day I shiver a little just thinking about him -- was slightly smaller than average.

Guess what? I never, ever, EVER even thought about the size of his penis. Not once. Not even when I saw it for the very first time.

            NEVER!

The only reason I can now say that he was smaller than average is after coming here, to PEGym, and the hyper-focus on size and discussions we've had over the years, about how past lovers have rated size-wise. I had to think back the first time the discussion came up and went, "Hmm... yeah, XXX was actually a little on the small side."

I had never thought of it before.

            Most women won't.

Are there size queens out there? Absolutely. Those women aren't for you, right now. But, the majority of women are very happy with a SKILLED lover of average size.

Again, read the article about vagina size. There's a reason why the average penis is only about 5 inches in length.

As I suspect 7.0-7.5'' bpel is avarage. I have never believed 5.5-6'' bpel is average.

Your belief is not required. Science has routinely established what the average is. Beautiful thing about facts, they are right whether you believe them to be or not. If you really believe that an average of ~5.5" BPEL is incorrect, I welcome you to find any legitimate evidence to the contrary and join any one of the numerous threads over the years discussing that fact. The vast majority of every single scientific study that doesn't rely on self measurement puts the BPEL average or median right around ~5.5-5.75" with routinely very little deviation. Either disputed the facts, or change your erroneous beliefs.

                    Thanks for the feedback, Zman!

Would you say that was unusual? That at bodybuilding shape you had such a large fat pad?

Perhaps I need to do a research field trip to a bodybuilding show... "Excuse me, gentlemen, but if I could do a little fat pad measurement on you before you go on stage. Just mind the ruler, and the cold hands... " ;-)

But, seriously, every man I've seen with low body fat percentage, has had little to no fat pad (that I recall). I, of course, never measured anyone's fat pad. :-) And, like I said, I never even thought about it, until coming here. And, even MrKimberly, who is simply of average weight - not fat but not really ripped - doesn't have much fat pad at all.

A serious question, that I don't mean to come across snarky, but fear it might, so please, please know I don't mean it that way.

Are you a glass half full or glass half empty kind of person, normally?

I ask this seriously, because in any journey of self-improvement, a positive mental attitude is really, really important.

Negative thoughts. Negative self-talk. Those things can ensure failure, if you allow them to continue.

What we think about becomes our reality. Our thoughts are self-fulfilling prophecies. Focus on the positive aspects of where you are now, and focus on how awesome it will be once you reach your goals, and you will find your journey significantly easier than if you're constantly cutting yourself down.

Again, please don't take this as being snarky. I just am concerned that despite numerous people (and scientific data) telling you you're above average in size, you're mindset is creating a false self-image in your head. It's almost like an anorexic person looking in the mirror and thinking they are fat.

                      You are not abnormally large.

                      You are not small.

                      You are above average.

Most women wouldn't think twice about your size, because you are at neither end of the spectrum.

Think about it. If I showed you a carrot (likely in the dark) that was 5 1/2 inches in length. And then a month later (or longer) showed you another carrot (again, likely in the dark) that was 7 inches in length, would you really notice much of a visual difference? Probably not.

Remember, women aren't as visual as men, typically. What she WILL remember is if that carrot rocked her world.

And, honestly, if they are thinking about your size before having sex you probably should put your clothes back on and run, because do you really want a superficial woman like that?

Tell me three things you really like about yourself.

I mentioned it in my first post, that MrJohn has a confidence problem, not a penis problem. For some reason, he thinks that he is physically inadequate, which all we can say to him is that is not correct. So I encourage you MrJohn to utilize the search button located above and do some research into your questions by searching the 1.2 million posts here on the forums. Your research should lead you right back here and solidify what everyone here has been saying.

If size is your hang up, then you have come to the right place as you can start a program to change that. All the information you need to begin a PE conditioning program for growth is located under the START HERE button (located at the top of this page). Most like the JP90 beginners program and we ask that you stick with it for the full 90 days. Gains come slow so don't get frustrated. Be confident in the outcome and diligent in your workouts. Post to your progress thread and we look forward to telling us of your new measurements a couple of months from now. We will still be here should you need some encouragement so check in often both for yourself, and feel free to offer encouragement to others who are on the same path. We can all wallow in our sorrow and self-pity, or do something about it. I started my journey a little less than a year or so ago and am a better person for it. Join us MrJohn, you will be glad you did.

I can't say I went around measuring guys fat pads, but have been around a good number of people in show shape and believe my fat pad was higher than most. I can't say if I had the biggest fat pad, but I certainly had the largest flaccid and bulge of any guy on stage and it wasn't even close. When you are dehydrated and in show shape your flaccid really takes a hit, most guys are only rocking nubs and my flaccid still went all the way to the bottom of my balls with some fairly significant VPL. It's kind of an ego boost when people see pics of you on stage and they ask what you stuffed in there.

Bahahaha, ruler and cold hands! Just tell them you are checking their body fat and they'll strip down and let you!

Yeah, it is like I have two disks of harder fat that don't seem to get much smaller, as the surrounding fat goes away, but not them. If they weren't there I'd have significantly less fat in my pubic region and minimal fat pad.

If it bothers you loose weight. If you have your dick out and a chick in front of you she most likely wants to have sex with you and in her mind I bet she is not thinking about NBPEL or BPEL since she does not know those terms.

I agree with and really appreciate this post because it looks at the psychological element which is so important. 2 people can look at the same cock and one sees big one sees big. Self confidence is key here. I can tell you from my experience that bodybuilding and PE have given me a big gain in he area of self confidence, so I encourage all my PE homeboys to keep at it.
