A handful of my friends say they go from 30-45 minutes of penetrative intercourse with their wives. I don't think it's that unusual, perhaps just a preference. I'm super into foreplay and like to get really aroused beforehand so I don't go for gold like that. To each their own.

Hey, it is George Costanza! How are you? Around 30 of intercourse is not uncommon, you just have to switch positions to keep from cramping. Honestly, I have never lasted 45 min with a woman I was really into but have gone for over an hour with others with very little stoping in the hip pumping.

Your a body builder, that makes sense that you think 45 min cardio is long. I am sure you are in great shape but 45 min for a cardio exercise, including sex, is not terribly long. Try long distance running or cycling: 3-5 hours of a consistant high heart rate is normal (actually, you probably do not want to do that as you will begin to loose muscle mass). I found that for long bouts of intercourse, the challenge is to maintain sensation for both man and woman in your genitals and find relatively comfortable and continually exciting positions. Going that long does cause some desensitivity, not numbness, althought that can happen as well.

Like anything, you just get accustomed to more endurance. For instance, I do not drive much now so 45 min would seem rather long. But I have driven across country a few times.
