    • That would be having an erection for 20 minutes. What you want is to slowly stroke your penis and hold in the ejaculate "cum" when you are at the PONR, that will put more force on your tissue and expand the penis, temporarily. I like to have 4-5 holds and on the 6th one I finish, unless I'm ballooning, then I just stop without ejaculating. I would shoot for at least edging for 30 minutes.

          Yep, just before you cum that is when your dick is at its full length. Infact ylou should masturbate for at least 10 minutes before you take your measurements. spontaneous erections are never larger than the stimulated erections. At least that is the way it is with me.

              I worded it wrong. Would this have the same effect as edging? (putting pressure on the tissues)

                You mean having an erection without stimulating it? There are probably some benifits to that i guess.

                  Well you'd have to stimulate it to keep the erection at it's max, but you just don't go to the PONR.

                  Because what I usually do, is watch a bit of porn while keeping myself hard. Just curious to know if that has the same benefits as edging?

                    • Tell me if I'm over thinking things..

                      I edged today using a light grip, slow strokes and stroked the glans while avoiding the frenulim. I lasted 15 minutes before getting the first PONR, then another 10 before the second for 2 PONRs over the course of 30 minutes. Reading through the thread it seems like 4-5 PONR per 30 mins is the standard. Is the point of edging to see how long you can last before the PONR or training yourself to stop ejaculation with a strong kegel and multiple PONRs? I'm thinking it's the second and I need to quicken the pace. Is this logical.. how do you pro's edge?

                        You want to get to 3- then 2 then 1 then none. The fewer PONRs that you have the better it means you are in control and not your dick.

                            • Hello everybody, It's the first time I post in the forums, but I've been reading many posts here in the beginner threads. I've been doing my beginner's routine for about 2 weeks now and I got really interested about kingpole post about edging sessions so I gave it a try the other day after my PE routine. The first thing I noticed is that my EQ had somewhat improved since I started kegelling 2 weeks ago and I was really pleased about it, and I definetly felt my penis stronger so all good. Stroking slowly only the base of my penis wouldn't get me close to my PONR so that I had to speed up a bit and touch the glans to get finally there. I reached the PONR three times and I noticed that if I held a kegel and stroke the glans and the frenulim would get me to the PONR a lot faster. Is it normal??? Because I thought that in the future the key to dry orgasms would be be able to hold a strong kegel to stop the semen to travel through the shaft to the exit, so why holding a kegel while edging is actually accellerating my way to the PONR? Thank you very much for your time, hope someone will help!

                                This happens to some guys, so kegel througout the edge but when you decide its time to cum release the kegel and stroke it slower. At least get a real ong orgasm out of it. glans rubbing eventually gets you to the point where you can have staying power. When the glans gets use to stiuli it will toughen up so to speak and be sensitive but able to put up with the stimulation longer.
