Never tried lemon water. Normally just normal water for myself. Unless it is supposed to be something else, then I have no idea what that is.

Ok biked 2 miles to do some errands. Would have done more, but it was surprisingly cold today. Also did about 20 minutes of core exercises. Definitely going to sleep tonight.

A day of rest today. I made a schedule for exercising.

3 on 1 off followed by 2 on 1 off

Starting at 7 miles of biking and 20 minutes of core exercises.

Every two weeks I am going to increase the laps of biking by 1 (each lap is 3.4 miles) and every 3rd week in a month I will increase the time for core exercises by 10 minutes.

I want to make the max biking about 1 hour, but know I will probably have to increase that after a time

I've just finished my 5th week of P90X. Haven't lost much weight but my clothes are fitting better and I can see muscle tone starting to develop.

Grats. That gives me hope. I did this quick little 20 minute thing of the Ab Ripper X and was surprised how much I felt the burn of it, although when you take into account how out of shape I am in I would bet that would happen.

Unfortunately had about 2000 calories today. Day before grocery day so the only thing to eat was some pasta in cream of mushroom soup. Although it is less than what I used to eat so maybe that is good enough.

Another rest day. Everything between my stomach and my thighs hurt a great deal, barely got any sleep from the discomfort. Oh well, tomorrow will be cleaning out the garage so I will get plenty of exercise tomorrow.

4 hours of cleaning the garage and will try to watch what I eat, but only about 1000 calories so far to make up for yesterday with all of that pizza, but I won't go hungry tonight.

Cant be asked to red all these comments, but from my experience people can usually eat whatever and however much they want as long -men especially since we don't store fat as much as women- as we burn off the calories. If you are looking to loose weight the best way is to do cardio workouts, the best being running and swimming laps. Swimming is especially good because you exert more energy and you don't feel as exhausted because the water is there to cool you down.So just start going to the pool and adapt a good swimming for to get started, and you can always alternate with going running.

Definitely good advice. I need to find a pool I can swim up and down for an hour or two and hopefully not feel too self conscious about others seeing me with my shirt off. I remember that is how I stayed so thin as a kid, went swimming for hours almost every weekend during the summer.

Biked 7 miles, but I think the cold made my muscles stiff. I took one small break for some water and as soon as I got back on my bike my muscles were surprisingly sore. Definitely needs to be a little warmer. Also I hate the wind being at a constant 10 mph for half of my route. Maybe I will do my core exercises, I have my first day of work tomorrow and I definitely don't need to be sore there.

No biking today because of rain, but I did some core exercises. First day of work today so I am sure I will get some exercise there.

Yesterday I am sure I only had around 1500-1700 calories and I made sure more fruits were picked up during the weekend so it is a bowl of cereal, 2 oranges, and an apple for breakfast.

Just took a good look at myself in the mirror before getting ready and while it is barely noticeable I definitely saw my stomach being smaller in one area, not by much, but it is a result.

1.5 miles of biking and about a mile of walking today. Picked myself some green tea. Definitely had less than 2000 calories yesterday and worked off a lot for my first day of work. I really need to weigh myself to have a baseline and see how I am progressing, but it feels like things are moving forward at a nice pace.
