Went to the doctor and he said everything is normal. Just like every other person who's gone in for hard flaccid. All the urologists do is go through standard procedures. Damn

It just so happened to be one of the only times my penis feels and looks normal too. So I don't blame the doctor for telling me everything is normal.

Anyways I'm still clueless about all the supplements I've been taking I don't want to become dependant or develop other health problems. They seemed to temporarily relieve my symptoms 100 percent but I'm wondering if taking so many could be a problem or if I'm supposed to cycle them or what or if I should drop or add any. I listed them earlier in this thread. In the meantime I'm going to read the 200 replies some person got about hard flaccid on medhelp. I thought I read everything about it but I guess I missed a page.

I think part of the hard flaccid issue is a result of pelvic tension, spasms, or muscle "siezures." They may be a response to an injury of sorts, but the symptoms mirror muscle problems.
This makes perfect sense to me, but where do we go from here?..and moxsum, i think you were referring to me with the glans bruise, but it just gets darker after an erection. And if i ejaculate, new bruises or spots appear. because of this, i have basically cut all forms of masterbation out, however, hard flaccid is my biggest concern.

Perhaps a muscle relaxant that does not cause ED.....Magnesium and calcium come to mind....Perhaps you can take them together. Don't forget the vitamin D niether calcium or magnesium work all that good w/o vitamin D.

Hmm, ginkgo biloba relaxes the corpus spongiosum.

I've been trying this combination as well as green tea l lysine l arginine horny goat weed fish oil and multivitamins. It seems to be almost 100% relaxed now. Are the supplements just a temporary fix or are they permanent? Also is it bad to be taking this many supplements at once?

Well the supplements you're taking are fine.I would concentrate first on the omega three fish oil. Make sure that you're taking 1-2 grams per day.I want you to look at the back of the bottle that you have of omega 3.You will see an amount of EPA/DHA. That is the omega three.Does it add up to close to 1000mg or 1 gram? Also look at the serving size. Does the amount of EPA/DHA that they have listed come from one pill or two? Very often fish oil labels will say thay have a 1000mg's of fish oil but only 300mg's of EPA/DHA. So what you're getting on that is 300mg's of omega 3 and 700 mg's of useless fish guts. Make sure you look carefully! You want to take 1000-2000mg's or 1-2 grams per day. Questions?

It says there are 1000mg in every capsule it says EPA and dha but doesn't say a number next to it. Below that it says total omega three fatty acids 300 mg

I've been taking 2 capsules in the morning.

I've been taking fish oil for months though before my injury so I don't think it has anything to do with my sudden improvement. All the other supplements I just started on are what seemed to help the most. I just want to know if it's just temporary relief or if it actually permanently cured me. Even if it's just temporary I wouldn't mind taking it for the rest of my life if there are no side effects. If that's the case you should all try taking all these supplements.

yea the fish oil ive been taking (just started today ten minutes ago hahah) EPA-- 550 mg. and DHA- like 185 mg. (why is there such a difference? Which one do you need more of over the other, to be effective? Is this enough either? Should I take 2 a day?

Secondly, I just took 600 mg of calcium. I also took 1000 IU of vitamin D, and took magnesium as well. Will these help as suggested above? New, how long have you been taking whatever combo you have been taking to achieve almost 100% relaxation? What does it consist of?

Newbert than you should take four of your tablets a day scattered over the course of the day.1000-2000 mg's of EPA/DHA is great for circulation and the rest of your body! Remember that supplements take months of taking them to have an affect on you. It's not like taking an aspirin for a headache and 20 minutes later it's gone. You are now seeing the effects of the supplements you started taking months ago. The stuff you're taking now hasn't had time to do it's thing yet!
I take 2000-3000 mg's of omega 3 daily. Don't worry about the ratio of EPA/DHE. Just make certain no matter what the label says that when you look on the back you look at the serving size (one or two tablets) and how much epa/dha is in it!

Great news newbert on hearing about your improvement !
I don't think fish oil really helps as i took it before and it never really did anything ( that could just be me though )

L-Arginine i found was the only thing which helped bloodflow.

Are you getting stronger erections now ?

Ya but I have to physically touch it for it to get full. It also turtles right after an erection but other than that it seems 100 percent normal. I think Im just not used to my dick looking so small because it hasn't been worked out in a long time. It hangs normally now and the only complaint I have is reduced sensitivity and uncomfortable pain from overusing my weakened Pc and bc muscles from lack of use. I still have hard flaccid sometimes but for the most part it seems to have magically disapeared. All I did was take 70 dollars worth of supplements. Im just hoping this isn't temporary from the supplements. I never even stopped masturbating which is what confused me. I'm soooo relieved. I listed all the supplements I'm taking earlier.

hey man, yea mine has improved a lot too.. ive experienced it like 3 times now, and every time it gets better with time.

Good news! Your dick works fine, dont obsess over tiny changes, as long as you get boners, can pee, ejaculate your good, there are some guys who's dick bend sideways etc.. so count your blessings.

Good to hear it's improving but enjoy it while you can. It's going to return, but you will be more prepared in dealing with it and know what to expect. I know that ever since I started ejaculating only once a week compared to every day, mine is 90% gone. But i still think the pelvic floor does play some role in this shit atleast. When your body is completely relaxed, you tend to notice this less often.

So you think that once you have it it will remain dormant forever? I don't want to have to limit my ejaculations to once a week. or rely on supplements for the rest of my life. I'm also curious as how the pelvic floor could be behind all of this. I didn't jelg or stretch my pelvic floor as far as I'm aware. Btw I've noticed when I cough my dick tenses up is that normal?

I want to get back into jelging and stretching but I'm starting to think pe is bad for your dick in the long run. I think I'm just scared though and making inaccurate judgements based on bad personal experiences. I think I'm going to wait a couple weeks and see if sensitivity returns to normal and if it does I might go back into pe very very slowly. I think I will be able to take it slower and be more patient just because I'll be so glad to actually have a working dick.

Its been my experience so far that.. since i first devloped the firm flaccid, it always gets better, BUT it does seem that your more predisposed to getting it back again if you aggravate your pelvic floor/penis..

However, im still searching for the ulimate fix.. and believe I am close to it.. at the moment im getting into yoga.. going 3 days a week, trying to get super flexible in the hips and fix all muscular imbalances in my body.. then I will be seeing a pelvic floor therapist ive consulted with who is going to help me relax and regain normal function down there..

Dunno if limiting ejaculations to once a week forever is necessarry.. once my condition improved i was having sex a couple times a week with little problems.. but initially its probably a good idea..

one thing that does give me confidence is that.. although the bad firm flaccid has come back 3 times now.. it has improved every time! to the point wehre I can have basically normal function. so it makes me less afraid of developing it again.. ofcourse i will do my best not to, but i now know that its not the end of the world as I once thought.

I will continue to keep everoye updated on my progress
