There are plenty of non legal places to find sex for sale in every state. If you know where to look you can order prostitutes to your door, find the exact street you want, and visit strip clubs where anything goes for the right amount of money in the VIP room.

I have been thinking about visiting a prostitute as I get closer to being 30 with sexual intercourse still alluding me and leaving me a virgin still.

I can already guess that it would be a hollow experience, both in the heart and the wallet, and that there is a decent chance at jail time and a good chance of a missing organ of some sort as I find myself in a tub of ice in the morning, but boy oh boy am I getting quite tired of carrying this V-card around.

I was 17 something at that time. Went to a notorious street where there are loads of cramped apartments and known for prostitutes and call girls.
Wasn't a good experience, maybe the place I went to was the place for really 'cheap' ones.

I've got no problems with people visiting prostitutes, they provide a service like anyone else (barber, chef etc).

I wouldn't be happy if someone I was in a relationship visited one but before dating me, then fine.

What I do have a problem with his how society has dehumanised sex workers. That's not okay, they are doing job (maybe not a job any of us would want do) and as such should still be treated with respect etc.

It certainly is. A very high stigma for those that do sexual work and those that buy it. Buying sex is quite some time in jail and many other complications.

I can see their point, some sex workers are forced into the life, and it could be abused, although I think if the whole "industry" had some laws to it to make it like any other job it could work in favor of the country.
