The people who live in between, generally, know where they are going and do not need them.
The DOTD has been installing quite a few of them in Bayou Country in the last couple of years.

I hope we are talking about the same thing?

I am very familiar with this. My wife hates driving in NJ because of this. I am used to this being I have no choice as a commercial driver.

I am right next to you in Philadelphia PA.

I just recently moved from N. Philadelphia to a nicer area just next to Montgomery county.

Still in Philadelphia but at the city line.

TGD the posts above really get you, I'm about as bored as the 5 in picture on both posts.

So how does that fit in? surely it should have been one from each of us, showing how we differ.

No we don't, we love fried chicken.

I live in Texas and no one here is eating alligator. It's only found in specialty tourist shops as jerky or in Cajun dishes at a few restaurants.

The unusual meats we love down here are things like catfish, crawfish, fried chicken livers and gizzards, beef or pork sweet breads and intestines, and pickled pigs feet. Even those are are occasional dishes. We mainly eat beef, chicken, pork, and cheaper types of fish (like tilapia) everyday.
