I hate it when the old lady stands in front of the ice cream freezer with the glass door open and ponders her choice for five minutes or so. When she takes out her final choice, she closes the door and it is completely fogged over so you can't see anything inside unless you reopen the door.

I was getting 3-4hrs a night over the past month taking two summer classes in college.

I got a rant!

In the past two weeks my 47" Samsung TV from 2009 glitched in a way that I cannot fix it. So I have to throw it out.

My phone stopped taking a charge

My favorite pair of headphones got a short

My kitchen light stopped working.

I haven't been paid in almost THREE MONTHS so I cannot afford to fix or replace anything, and I fix almost anything (except headphones, too much hassle.)

I just got off the phone with the VA education hotline, which originally told me I would be on hold for 20 minutes but kept me on hold for over 45 minutes. I called to find out what the hold up was my money, because it's been nearly 6 weeks since they said I would get a payment and I put in to have it expedited. I was under the impression it would take 4-6 weeks to get sorted out, boy was I wrong...

Apparently there's been a restriction on my payments all this time saying "do not pay" from when I tried to switch from the GI Bill to another program. I should have gotten some form of payment of payment back in late May to early June, but I'm stuck in some weird limbo and have to go down the the VA in person at 7:30 to.orrow to get it sorted out.

Because of this royal fuck up on their part, I have faced eviction TWICE and will inevitably deal with it again in September. I have had more than $500 in overage charges from automatic bill payments for such things as life insurance, cable/wifi, medical bills, and food. These bills would have been under $150 a month normally because I don't live above my means, but every new charge I get is another $34 for an overdraft fee. I have had to borrow so much from friends and family just to get by, just waiting for check to come in so I can repay them.

The only reason I am not looking for work while this mess gets sorted out is the amount of hours I have to take, and the extreme penalties for failing a class and thenwithout earning over a certain amount. Next week I will be taking 15hrs between 2 community colleges and a university, four of these classes will require an essay and a test nearly every week, plus I'm finishing one course from last semester in under a month, and also studying to test out of 8hrs of chemistry. That alone is probably going to mean 12-15hrs days of study hell and no free weekends until December.

It's times like this I miss my minimum wage job at the hospital. Sure it enough and my feet were always aching from constantly moving, and I got no sick days or vacation time, but I was a lot more active and didn't have anything to stress about. I was also in much better shape and didn't have to miss out on sleep unless I wanted to. Damn I miss those days.

Yeah it did! And I can handle A LOT of stress being put on me without feeling burnt out, but after three weeks I started feeling depressed and burnt out, not necessarily suicidal but exhausted. I was just lucky I had some meds left that could keep me stable.

My body went to absolute shit this whole time, and I mean all summer. I got piriformis in my left leg that kept me from getting adequate sleep, I think I gained 15lbs from living off of frozen food and not moving around much, my back was absolutely destroyed from sitting at a computer all day, and my EQ is terrible.... I think I lost about an inch between the stress and the fat pad.

This has been an absolute nightmare. I fucking hate having to go to college for a source of income. I am constantly stressed, I am getting fatter, and I am miserable. My grades are also nowhere near as good as the students who take it easy, like the PTK members who only take 1 or 2 classes a semester with May and December off.

Damn bro, I hope you get well and have a speedy recovery. I haven't slept good in months, years in fact, and I'm actually finally realizing the damage that it has done to my body and mind. I'm discovering the damage that it can cause is close, if not worse, than what drugs can cause.

I'm at the arena today as taking Lennon to see Paw Patrol live.

So far the roads around the area have been closed, I've had my handbag searched twice and been done over with a metal detector. This is before entering the arena and getting search.

It is of course better safe than sorry and I'm pleased they are doing these checks but it makes me sad and angry that this is the situation in Britain today.
