Hiya Islander,

I know this is off-topic (sorry Anon) but I am curious as to why you are so adamant to the point of fake emails, etc. that no one know you are on this site? I mean, I can certainly understand why the male members would want to remain anonymous but why would a woman? I am a woman on this site without my husband (although he certainly knows I am on here) and have no problems telling my many friends that I am on here; in fact, I have even recommended this site to them as well as colleagues. It's a great, informative site...so why the cloak and dagger?

The site needs an email address to register. So if you use your regular email address then from time to time you will get an email from pegym. My assistant has full access to all my personal and business emails so yea, not going to work. Plus the admin and all mod's see your email address. A simple search in facebook or google of your real email address brings up your name, info etc.. Not really anonymous eh.

I am not on here for business reasons lol Its a very personal private matter and I share things and thoughts on here that I do not discuss in real life OR I get second or third opinions.

Also lots of people in my life use my laptop. So I don't want them typing in something in the search bar that starts with a P and PEGYM pops up lol

Edit: I am SHOCKED TO SHIT that anyone would be using the internet that does not know what the internet is. Educate yourselves before you do anything. I mean seriously? Do you buy on Amazon? Hey those minimum wage earners have ALL your information. Do you use online banking with your bank? For $10.00 they sell your information. Sad sad state of affairs. Seek and you shall find. UGH

BTW, how many admin staff members are there and how do we know who they talk to in private? Never mind, off topic. That's another day. Topic is "How real are you?" are we talking to genuine personalities who practice what they preach? Of course anyone can say anything and hide anything so who knows.

Well...personally, I'm not worried about my email address being known at all...and if any of the mod/admin team want to send me an email to say hello, I'd be honoured and delighted.

Like I stated, I am quite comfortable with people knowing I am on here. What is more important is if the mod/admin team can see my birth date because that would mean I get all kinds of presents and cards and stuff, right??? And my dear Cusp, does that mean you're gonna bake me a cake?

Well actually it says " Admin " next to their name...

I am who i am, but this is a certain face of me.My common love of cars for example maybe present, but i talk and think differently depending on my company.

You see my " International Face " if you will.I speak differently to you, and differently to the older crowd, and differently to the younger crowd and so on depending on my unique relationship with each person.

If you came to India and saw me interacting with the locals you may never believe i speak English. If i visit you in the south , i may appear to be bred in Texas or something.

And I would also hope that my sense of humor and fun-loving, positive nature come through in my posts, but I suppose some things may get lost in translation. I do use a lot of smileys though, so maybe it does show.
