PanBird you're entitled to your own opinion but yes PE-ing is 10x harder than a boob job. Yes women are short and tall but both short and tall women go after tall man which leaves the short guy. And yes women judges a penis, especially girls my age (only 19). And yes the truth is guys look at there penis as if their penis is nothing which mine is (4.5 girth)

I once heard a couple of women say if a guy is short or has a small penis then why is he living. That's pretty harsh.

Life is a give and a take. We can not have our cake and eat it too!

I personally believe when it comes down to it, we are balanced. Women do in fact have some things easier then men. Men too, have some things easier then women.

I actually have it harder then a brunette female. I am instantly looked at as lesser intelligent, because I have blond hair and blue eyes. I have to work twice as hard as my male counter parts doing the same job. I make less money because and I quote, "Frank has a wife and kids to support, he needs the money more than you." Yes, this happened!

Think about it....You walk into a auto parts store, you see two people standing there. A guy between the the age of 25-35 of any nationality and a blond haired female of the same age....Who do you walk up to? What is your first thought when seeing the woman?

When was the last time you saw a hunky, beef cake guy with a over weight chick on a television show? NEVER! Yet you always see the media sticking miss super model with dopey, fat dumb shit...Why is that?

Geez... we women start working towards the impossible figure at childhood. Even our brothers see what women should look like at an early age just by the dolls we play with. I can't look like Barbie even though I thought I was supposed to. Watch this video and see the burden society placed on little girls around the world.

Considering men usually approach women mostly, and they approach women they're attracted to, that's a fair point.

Also, to the OP, I feel women tend to get defended more. While mean comments are made for both sexes (either about a woman's body, or a guy's penis) men tend to get defended less, on public forums. Also, there is a lot of love for women of many body types expressed more freely, than love for different male body types.

I think on some level men make it harder for other men. (Women do too, but they're more subtle). I remember when a chick posted a picture of her with her FWBs on GoneWild (reddit) a guy made a disparaging remark about his penis size. While he was dealt with quickly, the damage was probably done. I remember other cases where when the guy couldn't keep 'it' up, due to anxiety/depression, some guys 'advised' to break up with him because it would get worse and she'd get dragged down. Competitive spirit is fierce and vocal, even if the chick is 100s of miles away.

Then there's also the small penis jokes. For some reason these seem to be fair game. And both men and women tend to use them.

PS: I'm not going into the troubles women face. A woman's perspective on this would be better.

I would have post this thread in women's perspective but I felt it really would offend so women. But I would also love to see a woman's opinion too.

Im just saying Women are protected in society too much like INS said. Like I had said earlier women need to practice what they preach. And they wonder why guys just fuck em in leave then their heart is broken because they went with the asshole and blew off the good guy that really wanted to be with her.

In my opinion women doesn't know what they want.

If that's how the girls around my age think. Then that's how my mentality will be too. You guys say women aren't shallow, yes older women but the younger ones are. And that's why this thread was made because women my age are truly shallow and don't know what they want. It's easier for a woman to get a boyfriend than a man to get a girlfriend.

No one will really know how difficult the other side has it until we experience it ourselves. Without the first hand knowledge, we all will have a biased opinion, whether we want to or not.

Both sides have their own challenges and perceptions to overcome. Some completely different, some identical. Trying to figure out who has it worse doesn't help either side.

Recognizing it, accepting that we all have obstacles, and making sure we don't make it worse, just might.

This is why young people should give a little more respect to those of us that have been in the trenches for so many years. Maybe you could learn from the past mistakes of others when choosing your path in life. It is difficult to respond accurately to your various statements about life, attraction and dating without proper context so I will simply say this.

Whether it is actually true or not, the moment we perceive another as having an advantage over us, we automatically put ourselves at a disadvantage. And when that perceived disadvantage is due to something difficult to change such as race, class, status, physical appearance or gender we are often overcome with feelings of powerlessness. It is this sense of powerlessness that makes life or dating or whatever more of a struggle or harder than it needs to be but only because we start behaving like someone who has a disadvantage. Anger, frustration and resentment kicks in and we start treating those others poorly who in turn, start treating us poorly and voila we got ourselves a self-fulfilling prophecy and vicious cycle thrown in for good measure.

Bottom line is if you think life, dating or whatever is more difficult for you and that others have an unfair advantage then you will continue to struggle until you change the only thing you can...your beliefs.
