Anyone have any thoughts or comments on the Tunisia beach attack that has killed at least 37 people today?

I don't know why you would holiday there.

The trouble is that as far as the UK is concerned holidaymakers go by the advice given by the Foreign Office...in this case none of the Mediterranean coastal areas of Tunisia had "no go" warnings...although a lot of border areas had.

EDIT: Makes you wonder whether commercialism takes precedence over safety?

Many Australians holiday in Indonesia, similar thing except we have had terror attacks etc there in the past.

Hmm possible , many in Tunisa are against secular democratic state and have fundamentalist beliefs.

Many Australians holiday in Indonesia, similar thing except we have had terror attacks etc there in the past.

How can you defeat extremist fruitcakes willing to sacrifice their life for their religious beliefs? Seems like an impossible task?

Maybe if we quit going there and showing off our naked bodies? I don't have a clear idea of what they really want. In this case the BBC will report it differently than the US mainstream media will. I will remain baffled as to why.

As far as I'm aware no extremist group has admitted responsibility yet...but ISIS (or IS as the politically correct gone mad Brits call them) are the main suspects after the attack on the Bardo museum in the Tunisian capital six months ago.
