Maybe I worded that wrong saying "many people". But it has surprised me how many guys I have talked to that watch gay porn an claim to be straight. I, myself, have never watched gay porn. Could also just be the trauma of the accident. Have you been seeing a therapist?

When you have deep traumas, the "Attraction" to people is usually the first to go (unless it becomes hypersensitive). You mind isn't processing people as sexual partners or friendship partners, it's measuring your ability to make meaningful connections in the event you may be killed violently.

Have you gotten any help with that? I'm only guessing as I'm not a psychiatrist.

I'm not a guy but I'll weigh in with my observations:
I noticed a while ago that many of the younger guys that I talk with have either already experimented with other guys or admit being bi-curious. I find this quite fascinating actually. When I was their age the number of guys that admitted to having any same-sex experience or curiosity was much, much lower. I don't think that it's necessarily that more guys are having those thoughts, I think it's more that some of the stigma associated with it has gone away and they feel more comfortable with admitting it. Of the FWBs I've had in the <30 age group in the last 3 years I'd say that probably 25% of them have mentioned having some kind of curiosity about it. None of them have ever mentioned masturbating with friends though.

I myself went through a period of time when I was younger where I wondered if I might be bi. I did my experimenting, decided I didn't like it, and now I'm quite comfortable with saying that while I can appreciate the aesthetics of other women I have no desire to be with one.

But with my experience I know a lot of guys and girls for that matter have experimented with members of the same sex. Just thought I would see what this crowd here thought.
