The really funny thing is, there is only one person that in my company that will fit the stereotype. This is mostly because he's about one of the smartest fellas boarding on brilliant I have ever met and it comes across in the way he talks. Think Sheldon in the Big Bang Theory (except not as annoying). We did have this smoking hot female developer that worked for us. She was a fitness competitor but she left a few months ago. We have two male competing bodybuilders, and everyone else you meet in my company you really wouldn't really think "Geek". Our refrigerator has more water than pop, and for snacks we have Pop Chips and fruit. So, yeah...all in all we are atypical bunch of Geeks. Just dont get us started on Star Wars or StarTrek.
I do mostly enterprise stuff. As a Microsoft shop I have done a little of everything they have to offer. Since we do a lot of web development, I have been forced out of the world of server code and into client side with JavaScript and JQuery (not too happy with that at the moment, but I guess it is a skill set that I needed to get under my belt eventually).
So, I can go on and on about crap like that...and as this is not StackOverFlow, I guess I better get back on topic. I have been following your posts. Things seem to be looking somewhat better for you. Let us know what the doc says.
