    Some studies show that androgen receptor quantity and sensitivity increases with high circulating androgen levels. Sort of a use it or lose it senario.

    I've never believed that we lose androgen receptors after puberty. Enough studies show that to be fact to make me a believer.

    Please explain more on your thoughts about androgen receptors.

    kidd, I do like your thoughts on yoga. I've always treated penis enlarging as more of a yoga session as compared to a workout/exercise session.

      Very interesting arguments. Coming back to the 5 days sessions, do you deliberately skip off days?? It would make sense since there is no hard-core exercise in your program which would yield tissue breakdown. No days off then?

        I jelq mainly for EQ, not necessarily for gains. It seems to do its job. Even though your article does not outright say it, i think this goes along with less is more. And the idea that overtraining does not lead to gaining.

          I never experienced "overtraining." More by accident than by forethought, and common sense, I increased
          my jelqing ever so gradually so that my penis was constantly being stressed at low levels while I
          conditioned it for increasing levels of stress and resistance down the road. Then, when I hit the stretches
          starting with my fourth month, my thinking now is that I "shocked" it. All I knew at the time, was that it felt GREAT,
          I had no negative p.i.'s, and my cock felt heavier practically on a daily basis. When I was well into my
          fourth month, the measuring tape began to reflect these changes. By that time, I was also doing one to
          three hour marathon edging sessions. I guess you could call it a "shotgun" approach.

          Buttt--I'm now convinced, the three month long progressive jelqing routine got me ready for this "shock"
          treatment.

            ALLL-RIGHTY GUYS i see we have some very good questions here that im gone answer, then ill be back to hunting down my resources that i have stored on my computer(5terabyte hardrives have some serious hiding places lol). Here we go: I personally am going to be doing the routine once a day for the next 2 weeks. i have been at it for the past 2 and all i can say, is that its like having a whole new penis. It doesn't shrivel up, get cold, or any of the negs that come from over training. Even the skin on my penis feels softer! So if you would like to try every day i dont think it would be an issue as long as you remember its all about the gentle stretch and not yanking or death gripping it. Treat it like. . .well "your best friend in the whole world". If you are using jelqing for EQ then go ahead and stop. Yes jelqing does make the penis more veiny but there are much much better ways to improve erectile quality.

            Erectile quality recommdendations over jelqing:
            -go running(not jogging. RUNNING) every otherday or swimming from now on. improve the bodies ability to produce nitric oxide and deliver oxygen. If you do so regularly then woodies wont be an issue and DHT will go up, and DHT is crucial for hard-ons.

            -Drink a mixture of green tea and ginger. I buy mine in bulk because i drink it so much. not trying to make a buck just help you save one-- Bulk Herbs, Bulk Spices and Herbal Teas - Monterey Bay Spice Company --cheapest on the web. Green tea make DHT sky rocket and ginger will increase endurance in all cardiovascular exercises(running, sex, etC) massively. Not to mention i almost always wake up with big wood when i drink a cup or two before bed.(I am ADHD however.) to drink at night you may wish to prepare the the two herbs separately.

            -L-Citrulline Malate: It increases nitric oxide levels a remarkable 200% plus percent for up to 5 hours after consuming and keeps levels well above baseline for 24 hours. They use it for patients at risk for heart attacks. you can find a good deal on the stuff in bulk at www.purebulk.com--i use it every day. about 10grams a day.

            -Cut out lots of salts--salts lowers nitric oxide levels by inhibiting its release.

            -Last recommendation- LOOSE WEIGHT! If you are overweight you will nearly constantly over train in PE just becuase you have less dht circulating and not enough erections. I recommend taking a look at Intermittent fasting diet for fat loss, muscle gain and health Very very effective. the guy is long winded but he just tells you, no charge. totally free. Intermittant fasting combined with a High protein, med fat, low carb diet will lean you down quick!

            -Last note-no DHT does not make you bald. High DHT and high Estrogens together cause hairloss.

            THOUGHTS ON ANDROGEN RECEPTORS: Training will breakdown androgen receptors but adaquate rest will see that they are increased. Also exposure to androgens actually start the whole process of upregulating receptor count. In short Depending on your natural hormone levels you will regain/add to your receptor count in a proportional fashion. SO what does that mean? For me i gain doing penis yoga everyday due to my age and levels. For another that means every other day and making sure no extra stimuli happens other than erections which ARE CRUCIAL for repairs. All my recommendations should help with that problem. Penis yoga breaks down collagen cross links which cause shrinkage(those crosslinks happen in the flaccid state) and as i have said before, contrary to the popular belief, The body does
            increase elastin levels in the area due to the type of stimulation. Along with this adaptation receptors should increase with it.               Yep, started that one and immediately started gaining. Measuring again tomorrow, it's only been one week but last week I gained 0.2". It looks much bigger now, fatter also so maybe I've even (finally) gained some girth. Big al recommends MAX 50 5 sec squeezes, I think. I started at 15 and didn't increase for a long time, since I was gaining (although slowly). I've recently started increasing the amount and now I had those crazy gains last week.

              30 Aug 2012: 6.7" BPEL/4.9" MSEG
              20 Nov 2012: 7.0" BPEL/4.84" MSEG

                  The penis is specifically made of mostly type I collagen fibers which are unstable at body temperature, and NOT slightly above it
                  Is "unstable" the preferred state for breaking up collagen? If so, then warming the tissues would actually be counterproductive? Or am I reading this wrong? You do recommend warm wraps as part of the routine, so I'm confused.

                    Great questions sixrod the penis is made of type one and yes, it is in a state of instability which is ideal. Think about it from a perspective of moving. Do you want the things holding a structure together to be rigid and inflexible, or would you rather they have a bit of give to reduce the force of impact through absorbtion? or even better what about in a state of healing and repair? if injured would you want to have to build up an great deal of heat(energy) to repair or would you rather just be able to raise the temperature ever so slightly? When i say instability think of water that is JUST ABOUT to boil. All the heat is there but it just needs that tiniest little amount and BOOM. Well the body is much the same. In a slightly cooler state the body is able to maintain collagen and proteins, but when you eat your body temperature rises ever so slightly and then the collagen starts to denature and the body starts to build up and tear down collagen as a result of the stimuli you place on it. you are right, heat does cause collagen breakdown to increase. It also, on top of that it changes some of the collagen's properties making it easier to remove and add, very much like hot glue(apt since collagen is said to be the glue of the body). when cold collagen is stiff and not easily stretchable, same goes for Elastin oddly enough. Elastin is in essence a specialized form of collagen. They are both made from the same amino acids, just in a different structure, which effects how it acts--though heat still makes both more manageable. When i say heat im not talking about ridiculous temperatures here. im referring to a heating pad or a warm shower. nothing over the top. just something to reduce injury possibility, very similar to sports. So what i said might appear counterproductive, but as you can see it all co-insides beautifully . On the topic of masturbation, ive never really seen the point in it and its never done me a single favor for stronger erections. In fact the exact opposite is true. i used to masturbate every day or other day. Now that i DON'T, its a whole new world. i get erections super easy without even having to touch it and when i do i can make it SUPER HARD. Not to mention bro masturbating steals your "Man Thunder". Its the best feeling in the world to be able to literally WILL an erection!
