    It never hurts to take it slow and become more experienced, if you do too much too soon you can end up injured. Wait until you're more experienced before you throw and ADS into your hanging routine and mix.

    • Quick question. It says to do a certain amount of sets a day like 3 sets for 20 min a piece.
      Can you split the sets through out the day like 20 min in the morning, 20 min afternoon, and 20 min before bed or do you have to do them all in one time frame ?
      start: November 1st 2012
      BPEL: 5"
      EG: 4.4"

      current: April 1st 2013
      BPEL: 5.9"
      EG: 4.8"

      Goal by November 1st 2013
      BPEL: 6.5"
      EG: 5"

      Ultimate goal

      • i was done hanging two nights ago, and i use the ace wrap as a first layer and i use a johnson and johnson wrap (it is sort of ruff, and it sticks to itself for a few session) i forgot the name of it. anyways after i was done hanging i noticed that if i leave the wrap on with enough room for flow blood, it avoids turtleing afterwards.. so i am not a pro or anything but im wondering what you fellas think about this? would it have any benefit like having ligaments not retract or something?

          • Impossible to grasp the internals - hanger just slips to glans no matter how tight I make it. (or becomes unbelievably painful)
            Is it a good idea to hang 10-20% erect ? Because then I can position the hanger somewhere in the middle.
            Any suggestions?

            • i hung for about 18 days and I can't hung without my glans getting cold and dark. Its very bad or not? I limit my sets to 15min.

              • I am nearing my first week of hanging and after 3 years of on and off PE all I can say is "why the hell didn't I try this before" I'm really liking it. Minimal effort for the work produced fits me perfectly. All that tugging crap, what a waste of effort. Realizing its a slow and steady process I am curious to hear from the vets on how long it took to see results and at what rate (million dollar question).
                I would like to share how I made my rig mainly because it is extremely comfortable (within reason) and cheap. I picked up some pipe insulation of the appropriate size sold in 3' lengths from the big box store. this stuff is made from a soft sponge rubber that reminds me of the memory foam used as bed toppers and pillows. a 3" length of this followed by a sock and a ratcheting, "T" handle type cable clamp. the other end of the sock is simply tied to a barbell that I can put different amounts of weight on (currently 5lbs). That's it. I cant see how it could be better.

                • Awesome! Glad you are enjoying it. I like hanging because I can multitask. I couldn't do this with solely doing manuals. Consistency is the most important part of hanging. Riding fatigue day after day is how you gain. When hanging I have been gaining about .1 every 6 weeks or so as an average. Some months more some less. It all depends on how many hours a week I put in. Good luck!

                    • Joebonner asked a question about splitting the sets but never got any feeback. I'm wondering the same thing. Logic (wishful) would lead one to believe if we are trying to limit the time our dick has to heal while in the not stretched state then splitting the sets between am and pm has merit. Doing a set before I go to work and then 3 in the evening would sure help me out. Does anyone know if this topic has been covered before or any thoughts?
                      Another question. I am well in to my second week hanging, straight down while standing up or sitting on the edge of the bed. I initially did some sets at lighter weights and then settled on 4 set/20min @ 6.2lbs (I thought it was 5lbs) for my first week. No pain and no hint of fatigue. This second week I went up to 7.9 pounds and 4/20 sets. Still no pain or fatigue. I can definetly feel it pulling on my susp. lig all the way up to my stomach though. no soreness either. I am trying to interpret this. Should I just stay at this weight for a while or keep going till I see some fatigue. can someone offer any ideas on what I should be doing here. I would like to get off on the right foot with this.

                      • I agree that splitting the sets would be a good thing. The idea is to continually create micro-trauma and get these sites to heal in an extended state (one reason most advocate hanging every day).

                        I do my LG sets normally 1 hour in the AM and 1 hour in the PM if I can find time. I definitely notice more soreness and greater flaccid hang on these days!

                        • If I could split my sets up I would. It is difficult for me to do 6 sets straight and negative signs can occurs easier when it is all at once. DJ is right about continually creating micro tears that can be healed and recreated all in the same day.

                            Bnip. I measured a solid .1 BPEL increase tonight after my workout. I wont call that a gain just yet because obviously everything was stretched out but its certainly fueling that desire to enter a successful result in the Halfway challenge

                              I always confirm a couple times before I get overly excited with gains. You want to be honest with yourself as that is the most important part of PE. This is great news and I can't wait to officially add this to the Halfway Challenge. I will be checking in soon bwahahahah (evil voice)

                              • Help here please. First, English being a foreign language, I must say that it makes it extremely complex for me to understand this post. It is quite long as well if English is not your 1st language. Alright so what do BTC/ OTS, OTL/SU/UL stand for?

                                Btc: I can get it, you have to lean forward a little bit. It is slightly different that straight down right?
                                OTL,OTS: Over the leg? the shoulder? OVER??
                                SU: straight up, how is that possible?
                                UL: well of course under the legs my penis is under my legs haha

                                Anyways, I will have to re-read the post again and again because I understood like 10% of it. Especially the LOT thing....
