Up to now, I have not seen significant gains in my size. Is it because only using bathmate is not enough? Or the way I use bathmate is wrong? Can you give me some suggestions?
    Thank you very much!
    Hey huangjing32!

Can you describe your routine to me - are you using in the bath/shower, and how often are you pumping during your sessions? Are you getting a good seal and feeling the pressure appropriately when pumping? We don't advise using as much as 2x/day each day of the week (especially not at the start), but your allotted time for each session is correct. The quick answer to your question is that you've been using the BM for 3 months - there have been instances where people, only using BM without jelqing or kegels or any other device, see results in the first two months. In my experience though it's much more common to see results in 6+ months. I've often said here that proper male enhancement is a marathon, not a sprint. If you stay dedicated and focused you should see the results (how much of course depends on a variety of factors that I can't predict). Now, I'm a fan of using the BM with jelqing and kegeling, and it's my belief that you'll see increases faster that way, but if those routines aren't for you, you're fine to stay with just the BM. Just give your body the time it needs and stay devoted.

If you are interested in trying jelqing, use this as a starter guide: JonPop's 90-Day Beginner Penis Enlargement Routine FAQs - Part 1

Oddly, it still works for me, but it is tricky and can be a pain sometimes losing the seal because of the tear. I would be interested in a collar and bellows as well.
      LND,

I checked our office and, while we do have replacement filters, unfortunately we don't have spare bellows. I let pedronorte know the same. The best solution I can think of so you don't have to get a replacement pump is to cannibalize a used, discounted pump if you can find one. I'd be wary of knock-offs as they don't use the same materials - they're often cheap and easily breakable - but if you can find a decently made used one you could use those parts. Wish I had a better solution for you - it's either that, manage with the current pump or look to replace the entire pump. Hope that helps as much as possible.

      Cheers,
      Harrison

        Hey there theworstofall (nice name),

At bathpump.com we don't price change for Canadians! You can get the discounted sales price just like anyone else. The only difference is in shipping - that is about $7 for Canadian delivery. One warning - do not wear during hockey games. ;-)

          Mr. Dickens,

We want you to have great expectations when it comes to using your Bathmate. Sorry to hear you're having an issue with the bottom seal - if it's come off and you need replacement, use bathmatedirect.com and they do sell replacement bottom seals. If you want to try an at home fix, I'm a big fan of gorilla glue.

As for wine pumps being used for BM, I've read some people posting that I've never tried it myself. I can't officially suggest it, but I can paste this quote for you "You stretch the rubber wine cork over the Bathmate nozzle then pump the vacuvin to your hearts content. And there you go you've got your very own hand pump for the Bathmate meaning you can get to max pressure in under a minute. (Becareful though you can exceed the Bathmates recommended pressure this way, so use this method at your own risk!)"

I think it's a risk but some people report results.

          Cheers,

          • Not sure if you're able to help out, but I seem to be having issues with my X40. I've had it for about a month and it was working perfectly. Now the past couple of days, it seems as if the tip is starting to have issues. When I pump, the little nozzle doesn't reset, it just stays open and air fills the chamber. I've watched the videos on YouTube on how to take apart and clean the bathmate, but I'm still not able to get it to work. I can press the nozzle in manually, but I don't feel like I'm getting good pressure. Just to clarify, I've never dropped or damaged my bathmate. It just all of a sudden starting having this issue on Monday.

            • Hey GrowNoShow,

Sorry to hear you're having an issue with the valve. After watching the cleaning videos were you able to remove and replace the valve, and it still didn't work, or was it that you couldn't remove it? The first thing we can try is to get you a replacement valve - if you private message me your ordering information from bathpump.com, we'll send you a free one. Once you've received the replacement valve, if you're still having issues, let me know and we'll figure out an alternate solution. We'll get you back on track as quickly as possible.

              Cheers,
              Harrison

              • Thanks for the reply. I'm able to remove the stem and clean it no problem. I've tested it out using my hand and stomach and it worked. The next morning in the shower it was still causing issues. I'm still using it, but I've got to press the stem in manually while pumping. It sort of works, but I don't feel I'm getting a good pump from it. I didn't order through bath pump.com, but I was able to get a hold of the company and I think they're going to send me a replacement valve. Hopefully it'll fix the issues.

On a different note, when I'm pumping, I feel a very sharp pain on my left side. It feels like there's a vein or something. Is it normal to have pain there? It hurts so bad at times, I have to release pressure.

                • X40 vs Hercules? I bought a Hercules a few years ago and between it and other modalities, I've been happy with my results. So, I moved up to the X40 Hydromax. BTW both were bought in stores. I tried the X40 and it doesn't seem to pull as hard as my Hercules. Is there a break-in for these pumps that will make them better?

I know that without witnessing the use, you can't give advice, but I'm wondering if I'm the only one who's noted this.

                  • I've never tried the Hurcules, but before the valve starting having issues, my X40 pulled very hard. I'd get great pressure on it. Didn't have to break it in at all. I'd check to make sure you're getting a good seal.

                      Hey GNS,

I actually just wrote you a big long response but the computer gods decided to somehow lose it when I hit 'post.' Damn those computer gods!

Anyway, I'm happy to hear you're getting a replacement valve and I hope that solves the issue. If not, you should definitely contact them a pump replacement.

As for the pain you're experiencing, you should definitely stop pumping when you experience pain. Some people get confused about whether they're experiencing the strain of pressure or pain (understandably) but it seems clear you're dealing with actual pain. In all cases, when experiencing pain, stop pumping. It's impossible for me to say specifically what the issues is, but pumping done correctly in a normal situation should not cause pain. You don't want to risk exascerbating the situation, so the best thing to do is stop, let your body heal and then try again - slowly. Don't build up too much pressure, don't pump for too long, or have too many sessions. Many times users go too hard, too fast, as they're anxious to see results and feel like they can take it. But just like in lifting weights, you may be able to jump up 60lbs and actually do the lifting, but by the time you go home you may have a strain or a pull, and from there you'd need to rest and heal. Same principle...build slowly over time. Level up bit by bit. If you experience pain, stop and back down. If you need advice specific to the details of how you pump, I highly suggest engaging Big Al here on the forms - he has tons of experience in guiding people to routines that work for them, helping them make the appropriate exercise choices.

                      Hope that helps,
                      Harrison

                        • Hi Harrison,

do you know if the X40 Xtreme can be cleaned in the same way as the other models, as shown in this video:

I'd rather have a confirmation it can be cleaned in the same way before I try, I don't want to damage it if it can't be cleaned in the same way.
