Which would you rather be -- Santa, Mrs. Claus, one of Santa's Elves, or one of Santa's reindeer, and why?

I'd like to be one of Santa's reindeer because they get to wear a nice leather harness & a generous guy with a beard rides them all night!

DAY 8 QUESTION -

Tell me one of your favorite Christmas (or other winter holiday) memory.

From the deep south so no snow. When I was a kid we had Christmas in Indiana with family from up there and it was my first white Christmas. We went snow sledding, had snow ball fights, built snow igloos, made snow angels, got some huge icicles (a dog stole one of them), huge Christmas tree, walking on a frozen pond, beautifully wrapped presents with bows and ribbons, huge table with a nice Christmas meal, everyone was happy and merry, no conflict, yeah it was pretty nice. Most of the stuff mentioned has never happened since.

No conflict? Your snowball fight was not done properly. That should have been war!

Which would you rather be -- Santa, Mrs. Claus, one of Santa's Elves, or one of Santa's reindeer, and why?

I would rather be one of Santa's elves. This is due to the fact that I imagine Santa running a sort of utopian socialist community in the North Pole. I bet you would work to make presents, which would be fulfilling, and get complete benefits and adequate pay. You could probably go home knowing that while you wouldn't receive all the glory that Santa himself does, you have worked in putting a smile on millions of children's faces.

I would definitely go with oatmeal raisin cookies. They are so simple, but delicious.

I would go with an elf, because I would get hang out with Will Ferrel. He's a funny guy.

Tell me one of your favorite Christmas (or other winter holiday) memory.

When I was 6 or 7 and I kept looking around the house for presents, checked the living room and I couldn't find anything then 5 minutes later I checked it again and all the presents were there - my folks moved them there in those 5 minutes I was in another room but I thought Santa brought them in and I was really surprised and convinced he was real.

Tell me one of your favorite Christmas (or other winter holiday) memory.

I think I was six years old when we went to my Grandmother,s one year for Christmas. She lived on a cattle ranch in the mountains of Utah; I lived in the bay area of California. I was very concerned that Santa wouldn't know where I was at, since I was over eight hundred miles (1300 K) from home. The day of Christmas Eve it started snowing hard and by night it was a full blown blizzard.

I remember being in tears over the fact that it was impossible to travel in these conditions. I went to bed wondering if Santa sometimes made after Christmas runs, (this was in the days before the claymation Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and in my mind Rudolf was just a song.) In the morning I was astounded to see numerous gifts under the Christmas tree. I was so amazed that Santa had made it through, that I immediately (even before opening any gifts) put on my winter coat, boots and gloves and went outside looking for sleigh and reindeer tracks in the snowdrift that went up to the top of my Grandmother's house.

That's easy, One of Santa's reindeer Blitzen( it sounds like he has a nice buzz most of the time,) Work one night a year and chase does the rest of the time.

Mine was about 20 years back when the whole family was together. My parents, 2 sisters and brother. All of them with there own children and wife's and husbands.
That will never happen again. We are too far apart and not all are healthy to travel.

I may have a candidate for a new one though... But I don't know what it's called. It's reallly hard, so you are supposed to dip them in milk or coffee.
